Photos and Description of the Menemsha vacation house rental Cozy 3 bedroom home has 2 baths a huge deck, with a private path to the beach.

Breathtaking sunsets will delight the senses from this comfortable well appointed Menemsha home on Martha's Vineyard. Bright, open and airy, there is a large deck off the front and an attached patio with six person hot tub. Our house is in a great spot just two properties back from Menemsha beach and there is a darling private path shared with the inns that allows you to stroll down to the beach, for coffee, papers, or just some morning exercise. Nearby there are trail systems for longer walks. We have access to two south shore beaches, Lucy Vincent and Squibnocket, both offer surf and different views. The house has two large bedrooms and a smaller 3rd all with multiple windows for god ventilation, new windows and an AC unit in the master. Menemsha is a quiet and quaint fishing village that is close to everything but removed enough to assure freedom from summer crowds. The Kitchen is excellent and equipped for a chef. Menemsha: A scenic fishing village with great beaches, sunsets, fish markets and restaurants. It is quaint yet not too remote. Part of Chilmark there are multiple beach accesses available and trails galore. From the house the path to Menemsha takes less than 5 minutes for the average walker and is easy reach of a walkie talkie from the house.

Did I mention the fishing?: Lots of fish, blues, bass, flounder, scup, sea bass, bonito and more visit our waters annually. The fishing is par excellence.

A great vacation week!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My wife and myself had not had a vacation in over 4 years. So needless to say we had high expectations when we were renting in Menemsha. After a hassle free car and ferry ride from our home in New Jersey, we arrived with our three dog tired dogs. As we all surveyed the house, we all immediately felt very much at home.
Family pictures made it all seem very homey and comfortable. The views are not to be surpassed. From the spectacular views, we would walk to path to the beach, tide permitting. We visited the Menemsha Harbor and enjoyed the fish markets and shops.
Overall, we couldn't have been happier with the week we had. All our friends were in agreement, that is was a great getway.
If we were to win the lottery tomorrow, we would want to buy this house!! The only disappointment was that we were not able to use the hot tub because the heater wasn't working. Overall it was a great hasslefree vacation. We hope to be back next year!!!
