Memory Maker is a beautifully appointed home that boasts sweeping ocean views. Located in the Bodega Harbour North Community in Bodega Bay on California's dramatic north coast. A well-equipped gourmet kitchen with Granite counter tops, Viking professional range, large stainless steel sink, & every gourmet accessory that you can think of! The beautiful, atrium dining area has plenty of room & will easily accommodate 10 people. The living room is just off the dining area and has a seating area facing the fireplace as well as a conversation area with chairs and counter height bar stools & high speed internet. Every room in the house has a television with cable and a VCR/DVD player. The Master Suite has a King size bed and a Queen size Aero bed. The upstairs guest bedroom has a queen day bed and fabulous views of the beach. The loft upstairs room has a Queen bed and a twin daybed with trundle. Large back deck and patio with Hot Tub, table & chairs and propane BBQ.

  • CANCELLATION POLICY:

    CANCELLATION BY GUEST: All reservations canceled, regardless of reason, are subject to a cancellation charge of $50.00. Reservations cancelled less than 45 days prior to scheduled arrival, 60 days prior to holidays, will not receive a refund unless the home is re-rented for the reserved period. If the home is re-rented for the cancelled period of time, all monies will be refunded less the $50.00 cancellation charge.
    SHORTENED STAYS: Since a privately owned property has been reserved for your use, no refunds will be made for early departures.

Notes: Memory Maker has a lovely front deck with two person bench for viewing the amazing sunsets on the water, wrap around back deck with seating and views and a large patio area with outdoor table and chairs as well as side chairs and a circular hot tub. The propane barbecue with side dish grill accompanies this area and is close to the large laundry room/mud room and kitchen.

There is also a newly built bridge in the bird sanctuary that connects to Doran Beach where you can beach comb, fly a kite, build sand castles, body surf or just relax and enjoy the beauty and sounds of nature.

Bodega Harbour Golf and Clubhouse: Memory Maker is just minutes from the Bodega Harbour Clubhouse and the Links at Bodega Harbour, awarded 4-stars in Golf Digest 'Best Places to Play' and ranked number 11 in American Express Departure’s magazine as one of the 25 most challenging courses in California. The course is open for public play, and when you stay at Memory Maker you have free access to the golf course parking lot and the children's play area as well as easy access to Doran Beach and the Bluewater Bistro Restaurant at the Clubhouse. There are plenty of wonderful things to do in Bodega Bay.

Fine Dining and Wine: There are delightful restaurants in and surrounding Bodega Bay in Sonoma County. There is a unique wine shop in the harbor where you can wine surf by sampling some of Sonoma’s award winning wines and purchase unique gifts all while enjoying the harbor view. You can even learn about the sea life being studied in Bodega Bay at the UCDavis Marine Laboratory which is open to the public every Friday afternoon.

My wife and I rented this attractive house for a week mid-summer to temporarily get away from AZ's summer heat. This property provided a very comfortable place for the two of us, although it could have accommodated more (kids or other adults) very easily. More than six might get a bit tight. The house was lovely, clean and very functional. It was very well equiped although we ate out most of the time. Extras available, like wireless internet, were greatly appreciated. Even the almost daily morning entertainment of the deer outside the kitchen window and wild turkeys spotted down the street. Daily high temperatures were generally in the low 60s. Cool, but very comfortable for us desert "Zonies." Want warmer, drive 5 miles inland and your in the 80's. Easy access to local attraction and some very fine restaurants and wineries. We highly recommend the French Garden restaurant in Sebastapol. A bit pricey, but wonderfull food. Traffic on the coastal roads can be congested.
The only negative about the house was a few very minor maintenence issues, like window cranks falling apart. Nothing that came close to spoiling a very enjoyable stay.
