Our Swiss Chalet style home on Lake Henry in the Poconos is a very quiet, lakefront home for your family to enjoy. There is a full kitchen for your use. The dining room and living room look out over the lake facing the sun sets. The lake water temperature is usually in the 80s from mid June through mid September. The house is professionally cleaned and maintained for your comfort and safety. There is a huge deck off the front of the house with stairs to the thick lush lawn. Just walk across the lawn to the lake, the fire pit and and excellent Bass fishing. Take the Paddle Boat or kayaks for a long cruise or use them to fish. At night you can see the Big Dipper directly over the lake or watch the full moon overhead as you roast marshmallows.
For you convenience there is wireless hookup and cable TV.

Relax on the lakefront deck or very large dock and enjoy the breathtaking view of this quiet 400 acre natural/man made lake. Perhaps during your visit you will be able to spot some of the many local birds and animals that are near the lake, such as the many species of ducks, Canada geese, loons, green herons, great blue herons, eagles, swans, and ospreys. Animals that can be found around the lake are deer, beaver, river otter, fox, mink, and occasionally a black bear, along with the more common song birds and small animals. Feel free to try your angling skills at Lake Henry. Hopefully you will be able to catch sunfish, catfish, perch, chain pickerel, bass and crappie.
A peaceful swim in the warm water lake or a very slow and quiet tour of the lake in the canoe, paddle boat or the row boat is a must during your stay at Lake Henry.
Enjoy the Peace: Lake Henry is a beautiful and peaceful place. We want you to enjoy your stay and savor the peace. However, we ask that while you enjoy the peace and quiet, you respect it and our neighbors as well. You will be amazed that you can hear your heart beat, the sounds of the birds chirping, woodpeckers hammering away in a tree and the croaking of the frogs. You may see a bald eagle fly by, or see fish jump, or a deer or turkey walk across the lawn. Our lake is nature at its best and a most peaceful place to relax.
