Farmhouse, 3 Bedrooms + Den, 2 Baths (Sleeps 7-8)

This 100 year old restored farmhouse has had only two owners. The house and property are called Overbay.

It is situated on a knoll with a rolling meadow, view of the vineyard , the great salt pond and ocean beyond. The greenway trail abuts the property and Champlin's Marina with multiple activities for kids, movies, pizza, ice cream, arcade and pool is walking minutes away. Overbay is on a paved road with no dust. With a modern kitchen, great patio-deck and magnificent views, you might just stay there.

First Block Island Trip

This house makes for a great Block Island experience. It was big enough to comfortably accommodate 5 adults, a toddler, and a midsized dog. The fourth bed room is in the back of the house, which is great for kids because they can get up early without waking everyone else in the house. The yard is huge and fenced so a dog could spend hours out there exploring. It is a 5 minute bike ride from the ferry and downtown. It also has a pond out back that is good for kayaking, etc. There is a Green Way right across the street (100 ft) that connects to 10 or so hiking trails. THe view from the front and back porches are amazing. The owners were great and extremely patient with all of my questions. We are looking forward to going back!

I first rented this house with my family two years ago over Columbus Day weekend and fell in love immediately. So much room (my dog loved the fenced in open spaces!) beautiful views and comfortable feel of the house. My kids loved it too! I returned again the following year for a girls weekend and hope to do so again. The owner was wonderful, responsive, welcoming and helpful. Would highly recommend a stay- only not on MY weekend! Ha! Ha! You'll keep coming back.

great vacation rental

The owner was friendly and easy to reach, upfront about everything. The house was very clean and comfortable. The yard was fantastic, beautiful, my dog loved running around there! Conveniently located, we walked/jogged/biked almost everywhere.
Too bad the hurricane shortened our stay by 3 days. In hindsight, we could've stayed during, as I learned that the power didn't go out there, but the ferries stopped running for 3 days, so we would've been trapped on the island. I would recommend this place anytime.
