The most unique, private, security gated beach community in the world! The famous Malibu movie colony was developed in the 1920's for movie stars to have a gated secure getaway and it still serves that purpose. This house is the widest part of the beach and has the best surf break in the colony. From this house you can walk to the central shopping area of Malibu and enjoy the many fine restaurants and the new 'Malibu lumber yard' retail complex. You can walk to the famous Malibu pier for dinner and drinks and fishing. You can fish in your own backyard or surf or just soak up the sun. Central heat and air make it comfortable all year long and the video and audio systems allow you to enjoy your favorite show while relaxing by the fireplace or on the waterfront. Beachfront decks on the first and second story bring the ocean right into the house.

Notes: The issue of pets is questionable. What pets? How long? Extra deposit. The elderly are welcome but it is not wheel chair accessible and there are steps on both levels. Even the first floor has steps. There is only one bedroom on the first floor We welcome children, but it is the renters responsibility to keep them safe from the dangers of the ocean/stairs etc.
