Dutch Style cottage remodeled with new paint, carpet, furnishings and kitchen ware. Large family room with DVD and flat screen TV for movies. Formal dining flowing into the kitchen area. Large laundry room hooked to the new Northport Village treatment plant so you can do towels and laundry while using the shower. Cozy covered front porch and large wooden back deck surrounded by a forest of ferns, hardwoods and flowers. Large Master bedroom, and 2 guest rooms upstairs. Bunk beds in one, two singles in the other. Sleeps up to 8. Once you arrive, you will seldom use the car. Call for rates and availability today.

My wife and I had a very good time in Northport last week. Our stay at this Charming Northport Cottage was very comfortable. The Kitchen is well equipped and we enjoyed several meals at the cottage. It's excellent location enabled us to walk around town where we got to know the shops, library, museum and marina. We were able to ride our bicycles all around town and up to the light house at the tip of the peninsula which is about 8 miles away. We also enjoyed going to the various beaches on the Lake Michigan side such as Cat Head Bay and Good Harbor Bay. We were only minutes away from local wineries and other towns such as Leland and Sutton's Bay. We were sad to have to leave but, we look forward to returning next year. I would to recommend this cottage to a couple or a family. This cottage is great for any one who is looking for a relaxing Northern Michigan vacation.

What a Beautiful Place to Relax

If you are looking to get away from it all, this is the place. The cottage had all the ameneties and was very cute. We also loved Northport. We were able to walk to every place in the town...Barb's Bakery, Tom's Grocery, the ice cream shop, the beach. We enjoyed the Friday night concert in the park and even saw Mario Batali there. There was enough to do on the Leelanu Peninsula without feeling overwhelmed or having to travel too far. We visited the Grand Traverse Lighthouse, Historic Fishtown, many wineries, Sleeping Bear Dunes (North Bar Beach), Christmas Cove Beach and the Leelanu Cheese Company at Blackstar Farms. This was a great place for a family with kids and dogs. We are looking forward to staying here again!

Wedding in Northport

My brother was married in Sutton's Bay and he lives in Northport. This home worked out so well for us it was just 2 miles from my brothers home that is why we rented it for the weekend. To our suprise it was located in a perfect spot right near town. We could see the bay from the street because there was an access point right at the end of it. And the full beach and park was only a couple of blocks down. And so was town! We walked to the park and up town and back to the house a perfect circle. The house was clean and quiet. Plenty of space for the kids. There are linens and plenty of beach towels can't wait to return in the summer and enjoy the water.
Recommended for:  Pet-friendly, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children
