I am a native of Maggie Valley. I have always loved riding by your cabin dreaming that I would someday have a 'Rock' cabin to call my own. We were so excited to find your cabin available. We had a great time relaxing in your very cozy cabin. The kitchen is fabulous, all the comforts of home - you thought of every detail. Thanks for phone & wireless service. My son loved the creek, red bridge and throwing stones in the water. We enjoyed the peacefullness of Eagles Rest. Thank you, again.
What can we say except we absolutely love this place! It is so close to so much adventure and sightseeing, yet each time we entered that driveway it seemed we were in our own little world. Lovely decor, inviting, warm, peaceful and relaxing! This wonderful home was roomy and had all the amenities we needed, and more. It was spotless and very cozy and comfortable. We enjoyed it all - the barbecue house, rocking on the front porch, the beautiful landscape and flowers in bloom, the fire pit, the hot tub, and of course the constant sound of the rushing creek just soothes the soul. For two sisters and our husbands this was a little corner of heaven that made it a perfect getaway! Pat & Jim, we thank you, and we hope we can come back soon!
I wish I could sleep to the sound of trickling water and the birds tweet in a quiet and beautiful weather
I've achieved my wish when I lived in this cottage week
Everything was just fine, the kitchen is clean and full kitchenware
Very clean bathrooms, as well as placemats ...
I wish I could re-experience again

This is really an idyllic rental. The elevation and the creek proximity kept us cool. Jacket and pants weather in the mornings. The barbecue shelter was great. We grilled some burgers and ate dinner in the midst of a nice thunderstorm in the late evening. Far enough away from everything, but just a couple of minutes to get to whatever you need.
The stone cottage is so inviting, warm and cozy. We were 2 couples celebrating our anniversaries and it was perfect! Both the king and queen size beds were very comfortable, the bathrooms are newly renovated, but most of all the outside ambiance was inviting and serene with a creek, red bridge and a hammock. It is a location that is close to many places, so we had time for shopping, dining, a musical concert, hiking and just enjoying the beauty. We will return again!
I was very pleased with our stay at the Eagles Rest! It snowed while we were there and just made the whole yard look like a Winter Wonderland. The river in the yard is beautiful, the house is very clean and charming, it just felt like home. The Gazebo with the hot tub were perfect for the cold nights, and was especially nice for us to be in while the snow was falling around us. Mr. & Mrs. Ferguson were very nice and helpful during our entire stay! I would highly recommend this property to anyone staying in the Maggie Valley area! The ski slopes are just a short drive up the mountain. I hope to make a trip back in the Spring or Summer because the kids would really enjoy playing in the creek on warm days :)
