This lovely 1822 home, just a 3 minute walk from downtown, the harbor and the Camden Yacht Club, has been tastefully renovated and elegantly furnished. A large porch on the south side overlooks a spacious yard just waiting for summer barbecues and family games. It sits on a very quiet, private street just a short walk from the shops and fine restaurants that Camden is well known for. Bike, canoe, kayak rentals are a short drive away. Fitness classes in a sunlit studio a short walk away. When 'Peyton Place' was filmed here in 1957, this house appeared as Lana Turner's home. If there is anything you are missing from your vacation plans, be sure to ask!

Camden is a very sweet walkable coastal town with a variety of shops, great restaurants, and ice cream stands, Small mountains and lakes surround us with public beaches for swimming, canoe and kayak rentals/tours nearby, sailboat trips, a state park with many hiking trails, rock-climbing and so much more. The local library has activities for kids as well as evening programs. The Camden Opera House offers great entertainment.

  • We want you to experience this lovely property, and the pleasures of in-town living in a rental home during your stay in Camden, so we have decreases our rate for the rest of the 2009 season. One block down to the yacht club and Camden Harbor. 2 blocks to downtown shops, restaurants. $2000 per week or $7,500 per month. A great place for families and children. Or rent it for the winter at only $2,000/month!
    Enjoy this prime in town location at a very reasonable rate this summer! Rates will increase next year.
  • Winter rental rates do not include heat or electric, but does include snow removal.
