Located atop of a hill in the middle of 500 acres with miles of walking and ski trails, outdoor hot tub, and 5000 gallon swimming pool. This extraordinary 11,000 sq. ft. castle has an incredible views including Mount Monadnock; enjoy the solitude and the amazing sunsets on this gorgeous property in Rindge, NH. Great for wedding accommodations, family reunions, or retreats. Sorry no weddings or events over 30 people. This castle was built by owner and completed in 1995. The interior design is unique in it's secret stairways, slate and hardwood floors throughout, Gothic arches with faux stone walls, a huge formal yet comfortable living room with faux marble and granite fireplace offset with a gorgeous grand piano, 9 foot ceilings and authentic tapestries with scrolled glass doors that open into a large Wedgwood style dining room that has a recessed ceiling with a lighted sunset. The basement bar/game room and third floor playroom will insure that everyone of all ages will have fun.

Additional information about rental rates

  • Our rate structure is very simple, and is the same all year. We do require at least a 2 night stay, but our daily rate is $1,250. So a 2 night weekend or weekday stay is $2,500. All holiday weekends are a 3 night minimum stay. Our week rate is $5,500. New Hampshire requires a 9% tax that for a two night stay would be $225. We require a $775 security deposit, that is fully refundable as long as there is no damages and the Castle does not require extra cleaning.

Notes: The Castle is in the middle of the woods, and very private. The 500 acres includes a farm, miles of trails and 18 PDGA pole hole disc(frisbee) golf course. The dam is currently under repair so the 50+ acre lake is currently a beautiful meadow fed by several brooks.

Beautiful castle, gracious hosts!

For seven years a group of dear friends from college have been renting a house for a weekend in October. This year we chose the Castle and it did not disappoint! The immense size and all the amazing amenities were perfect for our group of adults and children. The castle is meticulously cared for by its owners and caretaker and it shows: from the cozy beds made up throughout the home to the welcoming basket of goodies to the beautiful grounds, the Castle was absolutely perfect for our weekend of relaxing and reconnecting. Some highlights included sledding on the hill, the basement entertainment room, the third floor playroom, ample space in the kitchen for cooking and hanging out, exploring the turrets and secret passage ways, and walking the trails on the grounds. The Castle is a true rare find in New Hampshire!

We highly recommend staying at "The Castle!"

Our family truly and thoroughly enjoyed our week-long stay at the castle. The place is undeniably one of the most beautiful vacation-spots we could have ever hoped for. The grand castle, to us, had many pleasant faces; its placidity permitted for quiet, long-lasting relaxation, but it also created an atmosphere of joy, cheerfulness,& jubilation. Apart from the peace of mind & serenity, we found many activities to fulfill & complete our sojourn there. We utilized the quiet, empty roads for serene mini-hikes, the waterstream & lake for kayaking, paddle-boating, & water-tubing, and your beautiful backyards for sports by day and marvelous fireworks by night.

One cannot forget the care, generosity, and devotion that you and your caretaker Mike have given us. The house was fully furnished, your lands were manecured, and the hot-tub & swimming pool were excellent additions.
We couldn't have enjoyed our stay any better! Thanks for everything!

I can't say enough about the fantastic atmosphere that this property has to offer. We had a great time relaxing, playing frizbie golf, hiking in the woods, and this house is perfect for a family vacation, retreats, etc. It's clear you could have pleanty of fun in the winter as well with the miles of x-country ski trails and snowshoe trails. The worst part was that we only had 3 days! Thanks again!

Had a wonderful time for a bachelor party getaway in early July, 2009. Perfect spot for a small group who does not want to be disturbed. Frisbee golf course was in great shape…very challenging. Amazing outdoor views!!!

Beautiful house; beautiful property!

Everything about this place is truly unique and beautiful. The property is very expansive and private; the castle is amazing and VERY large.
The amenities are very numerous, which means you'll never run out of things to do there!
One of my favorite aspects of the whole property was actually the nice, large, level field in the back for yard games, baseball, etc.
The house speaks for itself and is awe-inspiring.

Check it out...you won't be disappointed!
