It is ideally located just 7/10 of a mile to the ocean and within walking distance to shops, restaurants and convenience stores. Explore the local area on your bikes, or take a scenic bike hike or roller blade on the Cape Cod Rail Trail which is just 1.5 miles away, or just relax and have a barbecue on the gas grill. After your day at the beach there’s nothing like an outdoor shower. Relax in the comfortable wicker chairs in the sun porch and you may not want to leave. We stayed at the house in late August/ early September 2009. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We have visited the Cape many times, and this is our best experience. The house is decorated beautifully, is very bright, clean, and well maintained. It is well supplied with dishes and other kitchen items, and the TV with cable worked great. Also, we especially enjoyed the screened in porch.

Ed and Sharon were very welcoming, and were easy to contace if any help was needed (no help was during our stay).

What a beautiful vacation home! From the moment we arrived and found a loaf of homemade pineapple/zucchini bread and a personal note of welcome from Ed & Sharon until we left we felt at home. This lovely home was immaculate, spacious, comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. The house came with linens, towels, soaps, lotions, complete kitchen with supplies (even coffee and tea!), beach chairs and beach towels and so much more! We enjoyed breakfast every morning on the screened-in porch. What a way to start our day! This house is close to beaches, shops and restaurants; so convenient yet on a quiet residential street. The yard was well manicured and perfect for children; complete with a swing set! We had the pleasure of meeting Ed & Sharon and they are a lovely couple who want their renters to be happy and comfortable. We can't wait to return to this beautiful vacation home. We've already recommended it to family and friends. Thank you, Ed and Sharon, for making our Cape Cod vacation so wonderful! We'll be back!!

Great for family with young children!

Thank you for a great stay, Ed and Sharon! We enjoyed it a lot, the cottage is situated in a nice peaceful neighborhood close to the beaches. The playground was in constant use by our 3-year old and the outdoor shower a hit.

Harwich is conveniently in the middle of Cape Cod. We made day trips to Martha´s Vineyard (from Woods hole) and to Provincetown, but mostly we just visited villages nearby, went to the beach or relaxed in the garden.

The house has everything you need for a vacation and if you still miss something Ed and Sharon are there to look after you. We felt so much welcomed by our landlords - it was like staying at a friends house. It is a great location for beaches, trips around the Cape and shopping. We would always come back!
