Islamorada Vacation Rental house

The home was in a wonderful location, and the interior was even better in person ( photos do not do justice). We originally booked for 1 week and loved the property and the area so much that we ended up staying an extra week! The owner was very helpful, and made our stay hassle free. Terry has done a lovely job on the home, and all the interior finishes were fantastic, we especially loved the kitchen & bathroom areas as they were really lovely. The pool....ahhhhh the pool was heavenly and we made sure to take full advantage of it each and every day! Also Gary really enjoyed the sea canoe and actually paddled out to the island one day....oh my goodness! The bikes & BBQ were also greatly appreciated and we used them almost every day. Grocery shopping was nearby ( Winn Dixie 2 minutes & Publix 7 minutes), and there were plenty of wonderful places to visit all within 15 minutes or less. Two great places are Wahoos & Lazy Days in Islamorada both on the ocean with very good food and fantastic ocean views ( good for couples and families alike). A must visit is a place called Snooks which is in Key Largo ( tricky to find but well worth it!) on the bayside, great for the sunset, nibbles & drinks and offers a variety of local artists playing live music on the beach. Also our top pick was a place called Morada Bay on the bayside....magical indeed a must.. must.. must especially for romantics!! Right next door is also Pierres which has the same owner as Morada and it is just a bit more on the elegant side as opposed to Morada which is a bit more casual. We enjoyed a fantastic meal watching the sunset whilst being entertained by a very talented local musician named Billy Davidson. It was a perfect evening, a perfect holiday, and a perfect home to enjoy a special getaway in paradise! We will definitely be back, and our thanks again to Terry ( the owner of the property) for being so delightful & helpful.
