Spacious Home, Fantastic Mountain Views:
The home was designed to take advantage of the beauty of Jackson Hole and the Teton mountains, offering walls of windows which bring the outdoors “in”. The spacious living room with huge rock fireplace has mountain style furnishings complemented by an elk antler chandelier. This great room with entertainment center also has a unique hand-sculptured pool table.
The large kitchen with cooking island and breakfast bar is open to a family room with a woodstove and dining area, all with wonderful Teton views. Step out onto the huge, partially-covered deck to BBQ and dine, though this is where most guests “live”. A cascading fountain and gentle stream flow past the deck and through a pond during summer months creating great habitat for ducks and other waterfowl. Landscaping around the home, along with the variety of natural, wild foliage and seasonal flowers, provides a serene, relaxing atmosphere.
This home offers 4 bedrooms, each with flat screen TV. and private bathroom. The master suite with spectacular Teton mountain views, has a king bed, fireplace, large walk-in closet, private deck, and the soft sounds of a small stream in summer. A spacious bathroom, also with fabulous mountain views, is light and bright, complete with whirlpool tub, dual vanities, and separate shower. The Indian room has a queen bed and the “bunk” room has double size bunk beds. The west wing bedroom suite at the opposite end of the home with 2 double beds and rock fireplace, views the entire Teton Range and the charming duck pond and has a private deck. Its bathroom is identical to the master bedroom’s. A den with rock fireplace offers a cozy space for retreat and sits off the kitchen/family room area as does an exercise room, powder room and the laundry facilities. An outdoor hot tub, overlooking the Tetons and pond, provides a perfect day’s beginning on crisp mornings or a soothing end to each day.
Some say this home has the perfect location. Jackson Hole Airport, serviced by Delta, American, United, Frontier, and Northwest Airlines is around 6 minutes from the home. Two fantastic national parks are your neighbors. Though an abundance of activities are nearby, many guests are truly content to just stay “home”, savoring the beauty around them. You need not leave this house, to experience Jackson Hole.
Moose, deer, fox, coyotes, and bison frequent the property. Small and sometimes large herds of elk migrate through the property in September and October. Their “bugling” can be heard on most fall evenings during the mating season. Bald eagles, osprey and a variety of other birds often fly overhead. And when the wildlife are not passing through, sweet resident ducks are always entertaining to watch.
