My family of 11 including two babies spent a week in this West Hampton home. It was clean and the size was perfect for our family. The house is in a wonderful area, near beaches, restaurants and the charming village center and overall we had a good time.
The rental had a few drawbacks. We arrived around 9:00 p.m. and had to go to the store to purchase toilet paper, soap for the showers and paper towels that evening. Those things should be there when you arrive. There was one towel for each person - nothing extra. There were no towels to take to the pool. It took about three days for the owner to get the pool people to clean and prep the pool and hot tub. The electronic key pad entry to the house often didn’t work, so we had to leave a door unlocked or window cracked for alternate entry. The rental period ends on Friday and garbage pickup is on Monday, so disposing of trash is a hassle and cost us an extra $50 since the owner was adamant about the trash being gone but not providing for the cleaning people to take care of that.
We did have a great experience with Hampton Baby Gear. The cribs and high chairs we rented were there in place when we arrived and they picked them up before 10:00 the morning we left. Very high quality baby supplies.

Owner's Response: I am so glad the home was perfect for your family and that you enjoyed our wonderful community. I am always available by email or phone during your stay for questions about where to look for items in the house if they are not in plain sight. Sometimes, if the lease and accompanying house details were not clear, it’s easier to just contact me and ask about these items; extra toilet paper, soap and papers towels are always kept under the sinks. There are no rules about taking the bath towels down to the pool; we do not have separate pool towels. The laundry room is generally stocked with 20 towels. Unfortunately, guests sometimes leave with our towels and the cleaning people may not have noticed if there was a shortage. The washer and dryer are also available for your use. I would have gladly brought additional towels to the house for you when I came by on Saturday to inspect the house and property after the storm that came through late Friday. The pool people are at the house every Friday after 10am to clean both the pool and the hot tub. The storm brought down quite a few leaves so I contacted the pool people immediately to have them come back and didn’t realize they did not return until Monday. I checked the electronic keypad and determined there is nothing wrong with it. Detailed instructions for the key pad (and a diagram) were included with the lease and house details. Had I known at the time you were having difficulty with it, I would have showed you how to work it while I was there on Saturday. As for the garbage pickup, as stated in the lease and posted in the laundry room, in-season pickups are at 6am on Fridays and off-season is 6am on Mondays. We apologize if you misunderstood the schedule but pickup was available to you at 6am on Friday the day you were checking out.
