About The Owner

My name is John Carver. My wife Tania and I own properties in Eden, Utah and Oahu, Hawaii. We started using them for our family and renting them out to guests as well.

We both grew up here and are still captivated by this charming vacation town with it's awesome snow and summer fun!

The Owner purchased this condo in 2009
Why The Owner chose Eden

We love Eden, Utah! We love the skiing in the winter where we are minutes from 3 well known ski resorts, including Powder Mountain and Snowbird! The summer is absolutely awesome as well! Pineview Reservoir is a blast with the kids! There are so many wonderful things to do with our kids here in Eden-- it's a great place to vacation with them. Wolf Creek is so easy to get to as it's just under an hour from Salt Lake City (SLC) airport.

What makes this condo unique

Moose Hollow at Wolf Creek Resort is not just a place to go for some of the best skiing in the world but it is also a place to be pampered. The view from the condo is beautiful definitly a trip to be remembered. There are around 50 hiking trails in the valley area, The Balloon Festival, Pineview Reservoir for boating and natural hot springs. On any dates that it is not rented the family can always come up with an excuse to stay there.

This was an AWESOME place, it was everything we could ask for and more. The views were fantastic! And so close to Powder Mountain. The area has so many things to do. Can't say enough good things about it!! It is as advertised, the owner has done a great job of listing it! Who knew we would see a moose and snowboard!!
The owner was great to work with. He was very prompt in answering questions about not only the condo but other helpful information, such as what kind of vehicle may be needed.

This is a lovely unit with a breathtaking view! Moosehollow is a quiet community located close to Powder Mountain and Snowbasin. We enjoyed the local restaurants and would recommend this rental to families who enjoy skiing on an empty mountain and ending their day with a nice dinner. The location is awesome ...close to the grocery store, restaurants, coffee shop ...but most of all ... close to the mountain!! :)

Condo was found to be as discribed, comfortable, clean, well equiped and nicely decorated. Nice view of the valley. I like the keyless entry, with 3 adults no worries about who has the key. Communication with the owner was excellent via email. Deposit was promptly returned. I recommend this property. Only took the UTA bus to Powder one day due to weather, went to the park and ride lot. I did not realize that a terporary stop was set up in the Moose Hollow complex. Nice having the Valley Market 5 minutes down the road. We will be back.

Very nice place conveniently situated for skiing . . .

My wife and I spent 4 nights here and really enjoyed it. WIth only the 2 of us, we used the master bedroom with a very comfortable king sized bed. The kitchen really had everything you could need (including spices, coffee filters and the other little things that are a nuisance to buy for a short trip) and we enjoyed cooking in. We also enjoyed the great view out the living room window and the hot tub at the clubhouse.

The location is perfect for those who are leaning Powder Mt. (well under 10 minutes) but also want to ski Snowbasin (less than 20 minutes). The ski areas are very different (Powder Mt. is more rustic, has better snow and laid back vibe; Snowbasin has a great lift system, excellent (and reasonable) on hill dining and surprisingly excellent and challenging terrain). Powder charges only $41 on Wednesday -- which may be the best deal in North American skiing. Discount tickets are available at the fine ski shop in Eden.

All in all a great value and very comfortable for up to 4 people (may be best for couple and kids as the downstairs bedroom as 2 singles) -- we hope to be able to stay again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this unit. It's an excellent value. All of the questions we had were promptly and courteously answered by the owner. The unit faces towards Wolf Creek and was very quiet at night. The unit is nicely appointed with most everything you need. The WiFi was blazing fast too :-)
