There is a luxurious, world famous resort called Atlantis, located on the very popular Paradise Island. View the beautiful and entertaining vicinity. Visit the restaurants and shops at Marina Village, play golf, tennis, swim with the dolphins or participate in various tourist sea excursions. Tourists can buy a day pass for $110 per adult and $80 per child and be able to enjoy all of its facilities including all water park slides, underwater aquariums and gorgeous beaches.
Visit blackbeard's cay to swim with the stingrarys or Dolphin Encounters with the Dolphins. Take a boat ride on the 'Booze Cruise' to a small cay for the day. Go jet skiing, parasailing, snorkeling or Banana Boat riding, or enjoy a day of deep sea diving at Stuart's Cove and see the beautiful coral reefs.
Visit downtown Bay Street, see the historic sites located all over the enchanting and interesting island of Nassau, explore the culture and music with many local clubs and exciting nightlife.
There is a full day or half day 'Family Island' trips on the 'Bohengy Boat' which takes approximately 2-1/2 hours to travel to family islands like Harbor Island, Eleuthera, where there are more gorgeous, secluded beaches with pink sand.
Renting a car is recommended. You can rent a car at the airport. There are cheap rates at 'Virgo Car Rentals' of around $40 - $50 per day.
