The chalet is on a wooded private 4 acres. Nestled half way in between Brattleboro and Manchester, it is 10 miles from Stratton Mountain and Bromley. 1.5 Miles to the Townshend Dam lake for swimming. Hiking, antiquing, fishing, rafting, canoeing, fruit picking and ice skating all in the neighborhood. This house is perfect for a ski, leaf peeping or quiet get away. Cable and wireless Internet, stone fireplace with firewood, 3 televisions with DVD, VCR, 2 decks with propane grill, badminton in the back yard, ping pong, Foosball and darts in the basement. Fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher, washer and dryer in the basement. Sheets, towels, and even board games are included. Dining table fits 8 with a kids table for 4 in the kitchen. The house looks like Snow White's cottage in the woods. You will be enchanted.

Fantastic Vacation Get-Away

My husband and I decided at the very last minute to take a week long vacation and thought that Vermont would be the ideal place to go. Close enough to drive but far enough to get away from our every day life. A friend recommended this house and I have to say it was pretty darn perfect.

First of all the house is adorable. It's clean, comfortable and completely private. The location is amazing. It's perfectly located between the ski slopes and downtown Brattleboro, everywhere we were interested in going was a quick and scenic drive. There are fantastic restaurants, amazing shops and everyone is really nice. The owner was available any time we had a question and gave us a ton of information about events, restaurants, etc.

All in all, it was one of the best vacations I have had in years. We normally do a resort in the Caribbean each year and after this trip to the quiet of the woods, I think I'm hooked.
