Kailua Kona Vacation Rental condo

If you like to have the waves crashing on the rocks just about 6 feet from the edge of your lanai, this is the place for you. Though the weather was hot when we visited in late August, there was always a cooling breeze from the ocean and the sunset was fantastic every night. We also could watch the resident Moray eels when they came in for their evening fishing in the tidal pools below us.

The condo is small but efficient. The kitchen is well stocked with anything you need. The bedroom thankfully was air conditioned with a window unit and stayed comfortable for sleeping in spite of the warm nights. The bath was clean and basic. We wished we had a little more shelf room in there for stowing bathroom toiletries. Furnishing throughout was attractive and comfortable. The unit was also sparkling clean.

The complex is small and quiet but has a crystal clear oceanside pool with a new gas grill allowing easy access for outdoor cooking.

You can easily walk to downtown which has an interesting variety of shops and restaurants. You are a close drive from some of the best beaches in the area. .

Definitely a home away from home and a great place for relaxing and enjoying the Hawaii sunshine!
