1 Bedroom, 2 Cozy Sleeping lofts, Newly Renovated & Sleeps 5

Ideally located between 2 spectacular beaches & 2 miles from the Menemsha Harbor and spectacular sunsets. A delightful stroll from Chilmark Center, Chilmark Store, Library, Community Center, Tennis & Basketball Courts, Chilmark Chocolates and Chocolate Factory & Town Hall. Watercraft available. Surrounded by 19th century stone walls, metal & granite sculptures and usable hitching posts. The cottage includes a secluded deck, spacious outdoor shower, fully equipped modern kitchen, new bathroom and large private yard with hammock, swings and a rolling lawn. Newly furnished dining room and living room and decorated but not yet photographed as this went to press! Call for more information - (508-645-9771) TV, Internet, wi-fi, etc. & Sleeps 5 comfortably.

Kayaks & Canoe are available. Only 2 Summer weeks still open.
About Norman

Retired to Chilmark in 1990, active in community affairs, and improved & enlarged the house, barn, gardens and property. We live year around in the main house, built in 1870 by a Chilmark fishing captain.

Norman purchased this cottage in 1972
Why Norman chose Chilmark

We expanded and renovated the original fishing shack many times since 1972. Expanded and enjoyed the design and development of the land, house, barn and enjoyed building the furniture and remodeling of the house.

Our location is ideal for all Chilmark activities.

What makes this cottage unique

It provided us with privacy, and a unique and caring community in which to retire.
