You will truly feel like you're on vacation in this beautiful and romantic Woodstock house overlooking the Sawkill Creek. Hear the sound of the rushing water which you can see from your bedroom and living room windows. Stand on the deck outside your 2nd floor master bedroom and gaze at the beauty of the flowing water. There is also a deck on the first floor which you can walk out onto from sliding glass doors. Cathedral ceilings, natural pine wood walls, walnut floor in the living room, tiled bathrooms, new chrome kitchen appliances, granite counter top. Kitchen and bathrooms are fully equipped -- just bring your toothbrush. There is a master bedroom upstairs with its own private bath, a bedroom downstairs with a queen sized bed, and a pull-out sofa for extra guests. Washer and Dryer are set up for your convenience. The house is newly renovated for your enjoyment.

You will have a wonderful time vacationing in this romantic Woodstock house overlooking the Sawkill Creek. The house has been newly renovated for your comfort and enjoyment. The kitchen has chrome appliances and granite countertop and all you need for preparing meals. There is a lovely bedroom upstairs with a sky light and its own private tiled bath with two sinks. Screened doors from the bedroom lead to a small private deck overlooking the Sawkill Creek. The downstairs bedroom has a private entrance and a full bath. There are sliding glass doors off the dining/living room leading to a deck overlooking the creek. Enjoy barbecuing on the deck. A washed/dryer is provided for you convenience.

Famed Woodstock is a few minutes down the road and is a haven for shops, galleries, and restaurants. Kingston is 10 minutes away and is also available for your convenience. The Woodstock Film Festival is held each Fall and is a movie lover's delight. Enjoy hiking in the Catskills and marveling at the Fall Foliage during the Autumn months. Discover hidden swimming holes during the summer or swim at nearby Wilson State Park. In the Winter, enjoy skiing at nearby ski areas such as Hunter Mountain, Belleayre and Ski Windham. In the Spring or Fall, try bicycling, rollerblading or walking by the beautiful Ashokan Reservoir,only 5 minutes away. Nearby Kaaterskill Falls is another breathtaking hiking spot. Climb to the top of Overlook Mountain in Woodstock and have a scenic view of the Catskills and Berkshire Mountain Ranges.You'll feel at home enjoying all the seasons.

The house was very nice and very clean inside. I would recommend this house to my friends but advising them to read the notes at the end of the website. The air-conditioning is not whole house but one window air-conditioner in the upstairs bedroom. By having the bedroom door open, most of the house did stay in the upper 70's except two days when the outside temperature was in the 90's. The TV does not have reception. Bring your own DVD's.
THe downstairs bed was very difficult for my 80 year old parents it get up from because it is a mattress on a platform about one foot off the floor. The owners were helpful in accommendating our stay.
