Sleeps 2-8 people, Central A/C and private garage with automatic opener. This is a very large, very comfortable, 3 bedroom 2 full bath second story penthouse-style property in a great centrally located area in the heart of Kendall about half a mile west from Baptist hospital. Easy access to Airport and highways. Over two thousand square feet, all tile, lots of light. Very spacious. Laundry room,with washer and dryer. Cable TV. Remodeled kitchen with eat-in area and new refrigerator. Two large terraces with sitting areas on the second floor overlook serene surroundings and green areas. On the first floor there is a small fenced yard, entrance, foyer and one car garage with automatic opener, stairs take you to the second floor where all rooms are located. Large master bedroom with private bath and walking closet has a king size bed, second room has a queen bed and third room had two twin beds. Den has queen sofa bed. Towels, bed linens, hairdryer, dishes and more.

    We do not take students, we only take responsible working adults.
    We do not rent the property for any type of parties or similar ..and eight persons is the maximum allowed in the property at one time

    We price the place and cleaning fee depending on dates and amount of persons,including children....please gives us that information and also if you will have additional overnight guests....that way a small group is cheaper than a large one....since cleaning...water and electric use... etc will be less.

Your home away from home..!!! : The house is very large and comfortable, furnished and equipped with linens, towels and blankets (plus replacement sheets in all rooms) and has a fully equipped kitchen from microwave and coffee pot to silverware, glasses, dishes, pots and pans The house is lovely decorated with many paintings, pottery, books and decorative touches with attention to detail and we have smoke detectors, fire extinguishers,...and more. Several wonderful restaurants are close by within a few miles radius (will give you a list).....also a farmers market, a pharmacy...a video store..and several supermarkets and great shopping centers. Easy access to main routes and to and from the Airport. We accept Pay Pal (credit card payments included)

Great neighborhood....!!!: Walk to small park, library and bus in Kendall drive (SW 88 street). Close to Baptist Hospital and about 1.5 miles from Dadeland Mall and about six miles from Metro Zoo and Museum of Science, Planetarium and Vizcaya Gardens, Seaquarium, Falls Mall, Merrick Way and Coconut Grove. 15 min drive from Miami International Airport. Take the bus to Dadeland Mall or to Metrorail. Several supermarkets, Starbucks, Farmers market, coffee shops and small restaurants in the area, many of which deliver at home or offer take-out.

Florida Keys...shopping...malls...local food ...!!: We are in the center of Miami with easy access to all areas...walk to the park, Library, coffee shops.... Drive to the zoo...beaches..malls... From the moment we booked the property Mary, the owner, was very helpful in giving me all the info I needed and sending me photos. The house was perfect for our stay in Miami as my family live in the kendall area. The house was very comfortable, clean and very spacious. Would definitely recommend to friends and family and would definitely stay there when we next go to Miami.

Home away from home

We had a lovely stay. The duplex is affordable, vast and comfortable, and the whole feeling is homey. It was clean and well-maintained. The owner even has a binder full of necessary information about where we were located and how to get around from there, things to see, places to eat etc. I have already recommended the property to friends. We had a small baby and eating in was a must. We had everything we needed for cooking and eating. There are two terraces that are private and allow for views over a garden and the streets beyond. The decoration is tasteful, with attention to detail, and the beds are very comfortable. I recommend this house to anyone who wants a quiet stay in a nice neighbourhood that is within 15 -30 minutes of driving distance from downtown Miami, the beach (Cranden Park) and from amenities like supermarkets and car rentals.

Perfect for exploring Miami and the Everglades

We stopped in the Kendall Penthouse for 4 nights over Thanksgiving this year.
The property was exactly as described offering very spacious accommodation with all the comforts of home.
The Penthouse is well equipped and has the advantage of two sun terraces that are ideal for taking your breakfast or that early evening cooling drink. Supermarkets, restaurants and malls are all within a five minute drive. South Beach is a little further but you have the advantage of staying in a really peaceful neighbourhood and dipping into the city the beach or the nightlife if you choose to.
The Everglades are only a 30 minute drive away. We really enjoyed the National Park at Shark Valley and the Coopertown airboat rides.
The owner Mary F made the whole rental experience very easy and was helpful in recommending restaurants, places to visit and where to shop - if you like barbecue you have to go to Shorty's!!
Di Papa's Italian restaurant, literally 2 minutes away was excellent for pizza and pasta at sensible prices.
Overall I would recommend this location for someone who wants to see the wider Miami area but also wants a comfortable, quiet and private place to stay.

Great Holiday

Very enjoyable place, quiet neighborhood, close to stores, restaurants, etc. Owners are very nice and willing to help. Stayed 5 days in July and if I come again, I won't look for another place.

Wonderful and quiet

Pefect if you want to be close to Miami, but not in the heart of things; tucked away in a quiet neighborhood. There are lots of places to eat nearby, and grocery stores if you want to eat in.
