The Palm House is our brand new beach vacation hideout. We finished building it only few months back, and just brought in all the furniture. Inspired with a French architect, we tried to combine international comfort and local flavor with the fantastic views and weather conditions of this green valley near the North Pacific Ocean of Costa Rica. The bedrooms and kitchen area have a functional easy design which comfortably accommodates 10 guests. More impressive yet is the thatched roof rancho which provides the best outdoor living we could think off. We like dining outdoors and enjoying the natural views the house has to offer, even from the swing pool. The house suits ideally two families traveling together, up to three couples, or a single family. Its perfectly located for driving to the many attractions the area has to offer, or simply sunbathing European style. We hope you will enjoy as much as we do waking up to hauler monkeys in the comfort of your own exotic hideout.

The property is located in the hill sides of virgin forest overlooking an undeveloped valley just minutes from the Pacific Ocean. Its a very natural setting with little neighboring constructions where sunsets are simply breathtaking and tranquility abounds. Palm House is only 10 minutes from Tamarindo - Costa Rica's surfing capital with restaurants, shops, pharmacies and overall beach town amenities. The popular Flamingo and Conchal beaches are only 20 minutes North, while great surfing spots like Avellanas and Playa Negra are only 15 minutes South. The Playa Grande National Park renowned for the leather back turtles is just across the estuary of Tamarindo. The Pinilla development is located 7 miles down valley and hostess luxury hotels, but also one of the top golf courses in Costa Rica. The Flamingo Marina holds world records in Blue Marlin and Sail fish; while the Catalina Islands are famous for scuba diving with Tiger sharks. Adventure is minutes away from your house!

The House: A New simple, elegant tropical beach style home. Very clean ample rooms in a practical and natural setting. The hand made thatched rancho stands out for family living or entertaining. Linens, towels, utensils are all brand new! Gardener and maid attend the property regularly.

The area: Guanacaste has amongst the best climates in Costa Rica, and Tamaringo is right at the center of the action. National Parks, volcanoes, estuaries, beaches, caverns, and multiple natural sites are all within driving distance. Although the area is known for surfing, many other activities include: deep sea fishing, scuba diving, mountain biking, canopying, rafting, bird watching, golf, hiking, but most importantly relaxing.

I just returned from Costa Rica with my family which included 2 adult children. It's location is perfect , a very private getaway in the mountains of Tamarindo and only a short drive by SUV to town and the beaches.The view is spectacular. You can see the ocean too!The house was exactly as described and seen in the pictures. And it exceeded our expectations. Eduardo and Alexandra have thought of everything to make your stay an uunforgettable one.We will certainly stay there again and recommend it to anyone!

Everything we wanted in our stay....

I can't say enough about how wonderful our stay was at The Palm House. I always worry when we rent a house that it won't measure up to the pictures and description. This place was even better. Our hosts made us feel completely at home and welcome. The view over the back of the pool was incredible. We were close enought to town that it was a quick ride to get to the beach, turtle watching, surfing and the stores. You can feel at ease if you pick The Palm House for your vacation that your won't regret your choice.

paradise in the mountains

One of a kind place. I felt like I was in a dream. You get the best of both worlds, while nestled in the mountains and 15min drive to the best beaches in Costa Rica.. Playa Conchal was my favourite. Favourite part about this place is you are a short drive to all the fun and entertainment but enough to be away from all the noise of the town. I true peaceful serenity, very private. Owners are very welcoming and helpful, thank you for a dream come true Eduardo and Alexandra=) Rebecca and Dan

Our stay at The Palm House was amazing! This mountainside perch is a perfect place to relax and enjoy the spectacular view from all rooms both inside and out. The proximity to Tamarindo as well as a whole host of other beaches allowed us to easily explore the area and enjoy all that it had to offer. We visited several different beaches, took surfing lessons and enjoyed the shopping and restaurants that are in Tamarindo. When we wanted to stay at home and relax around the beautiful pool it was all so easy as the house is very well equipped. We even needed medication and a nearby pharmacy was most helpful! The Palm House is a wonderful place to stay and enjoy all that this lovely section of Costa Rica has to offer!
