This is a great spot, closely located by the beach, pet friendly, and the perfect amount of space. The small kitchen was enough to prepare meals for my wife and I and. There is a great selection of old books and photos.
Ed provided great recommendations in the area to visit as well. If you're coming to Plum Island, you don't want to miss this spot!
Two things I loved about this stay. Number one Ed is a very accommodating and responsive host. He was happy to make any changes possible to make my stay nicer. I couldn't ask for a nicer, kinder host.
Second the property is tucked away and somewhat isolated which is saying a lot on Plum Island which is a highly populated little bit of land. It was a true getaway! I can highly recommend this place to anyone.
This was a perfect, no-frills base for a couple of days on the beach and away from the city.

Liked: Check-in, communication, location
Disliked: Listing accuracy
Pretty funky
Not up tp VRBO standard: no TV!!
Poorly equiped kitchen with the smallest, inadequate refrigerator I’ve ever seen
No clothes line or place to hang wet towels and bathing suits
Deferred maintenance inside and outside.
But a private, quiet location very conveniently located.

About the host
Hosted by Ed Mair
Bird watching brought me to Plum Island, I am retired and enjoy the small woods in back of the house almost as much as the glimpses of the ocean from the front. I walk on the beach almost daily year around and photograph what I see!
Why they chose this property
It has a private nature trail loaded with warblers in the spring and fall as well as several interesting species year round.
