As well as the sports, take country drives, see historic sites, fascinating museums, art and theater and of course... Shopping! Antiquing, country stores, galleries and outlets. About the Accommodations: Comfortable & convenient to all. There is no need to park at base lodge, obtain parking, walk or carry ski gear, from the parking lot or up stairs. There is a private shuttle, steps from the front door, that takes you to Okemo's trail head on Sachem trail (approx 2 min.) Trailside Community has a heated pool and tennis courts - available during the spring, summer & fall season. It is located in the midst of Vermont's offerings and within minutes of the base of the mountain; Okemo's base lodge and golf center; the quaint town of Ludlow; groceries; country stores; great restaurants; Echo Lake and Lake Rescue
