Either a quiet weekend away, a family vacation or a weekend with friends, there are many fun things to do. You can ski, snowboard, golf, hike, bike, fish, swim, or simply relax. As well as the sports, take country drives, see historic sites, fascinating museums, art and theater and of course... Shopping! Antiquing, country stores, galleries and outlets. About the Accommodations: Comfortable & convenient to all. There is no need to park at base lodge, obtain parking, walk or carry ski gear, from the parking lot or up stairs. There is a private shuttle, steps from the front door, that takes you to Okemo's trail head on Sachem trail (approx 2 min.) Trailside Community has a heated pool and tennis courts - available during the spring, summer & fall season. It is located in the midst of Vermont's offerings and within minutes of the base of the mountain; Okemo's base lodge and golf center; the quaint town of Ludlow; groceries; country stores; great restaurants; Echo Lake and Lake Rescue
