Mac's Hideaway log cabin is the perfect abode for a romantic & charming getaway or a family/friend holiday! This cozy home sits directly on the banks of the soothing San Juan River with 2 acres. Our home has the perfect Pagosa location; 6 miles to town or 10 min. & 16 miles or 26 minutes drive to 'WOLF CREEK'!

View the SJ river from your beautiful private deck and log home, while listening to the calming sounds of this earthly paradise. Relax in the bubbling Jacuzzi for 6, read a book while swaying in the hammock, fly fish, tube & kayak right in your own backyard. There is also a private stocked trout lake in the community for the youngsters to fish or raft. Regardless of what you do, you will discover 'peace of nature' at MAC'S HIDEAWAY which is surrounded by 3 million acres of the San Juan National Forest.

New for 2008 is high speed and wireless Internet, Direct TV, and a Sony 32' flat screen TV with DVD, Bose speakers inside and out! It is completely furnished with loads of Southwest charm, custom furniture and warmth. Beautiful antiques, art, and handcrafted custom made log furniture, picture perfect! It has all amenities, washer, dryer, antique reproduction stove and oven, microwave and small appliances. It has an antique wood burning stove, circa 1890, which can be used for burning wood.

Also included are 2 TVs, 2 VCRs/DVDs with satellite. The Master bedroom has a queen bed, sitting area, with a full bath and adjoining loft with full bed or sitting area. The second bedroom has a queen bed and sitting area. The third bedroom has a double-twin pine log bunk bed.

The 2 bedrooms downstairs share a full bath in the hallway. This is absolutely great for romance, relaxation and entertaining family and friends. This deck is completely furnished with custom handmade patio furniture, hammock and portable outdoor fireplace and gas grill. So come and stay at 'Mac's Hideaway,' where dreams do come true!

The neighborhood is fantastic! We are the only San Juan River front community with high end homes. Mac's hideaway has 2 acres on the river. We are a 10 minute drive to the Hot Springs and downtown Pagosa and 25 minutes up to Wolf Creek with easy road access off Hwy 160. There is no better location then MAC'S HIDEAWAY!

Mac's Hideaway is a perfect, charming cabin right on the San Juan River. Talk about peaceful and comforting......it was just like having all the comforts of home in a beautiful setting in the mountains. One morning I sat out on the deck with my feet dangling off the side just drinking my coffee and listening to the therapeutic sound of the river...so relaxing. I could have sat there for hours...The owner does a wonderful job putting all the personal touches to the home and making visitors feel so special. I was so surprised of all the items that were already there and you were welcome to use. I would recommend this cabin to anyone!! And we will be going back for sure!!!

Incredible Colorado Experience

Mac's Hideaway is exactly what we were looking for to expose our elementary age children to the wilderness of Colorado. The back deck is large, very accommodating, and steps from a real live Colorado river. Since we visited in fall, we were able to wade in our water shoes and hop around on the rocks for hours. The cabin is cozy and has every comfort you could want, and then some. The owner is easy to work with and readily available for questions. Her warm and generous personality is evident everywhere in her cabin. Listing and photos are entirely accurate and the cabin is perfectly clean and well-maintained. The area is breathtakingly beautiful, especially with fall colors out; and the city of Pagosa Springs provided us many good meals, and the unique experience of the hot springs.
