Sunbathe and relax in this beautifully renovated Arts & Crafts bungalow, located on an inland tidal estuary, only minutes from the ocean beaches, walking trails and picnic areas of Kittery’s 92-acre Fort Foster Park. Surrounded by massive old-growth pine and oaks, this stunning architect-designed retreat is secluded, yet only minutes from Route 1 and Interstate 95.

Upstairs, the master bedroom has a protected deck overlooking the estuary for private sun-bathing. A small meditation room with a futon adjoins the upstairs guest bedroom; and the marble-tiled bath includes a steam shower and laundry facilities.

Downstairs, a guest bedroom suite has its own full bath and an office with a desk and sofa. The dining room can seat eight; and the, open-concept kitchen and living room look out on the waterfront. The house has an entertainment center, high-speed internet, WAN and basic cable services; as well as Brazilian cherry decks and an outside charcoal grill.

Easy Accessibility: This waterfront property feels rural and secluded but is also very accessible. Literally three minutes away from the Kittery Outlet Malls on Route One and five minutes from Interstate 95, the property is only seven minutes from historic Portsmouth, NH; twenty minutes from beautiful Newburyport, MA; forty minutes from Portland, Maine; and one hour from Boston Logan Airport. Locally, it is just two minutes from Chauncey Creek Lobster and only four minutes from Fort Foster, Kittery's large, ocean-front park.

Non-Smoking: This is a non-smoking house both inside and outside. If any evidence of smoking is found on the property, an additional $300 cleaning fee will be charged and the renters may be asked to leave.

My wife and I as well as our two teenage boys just came back from our trip to Maine. We stayed at this home and it was wonderful. It was clean and had everything we needed. The location was awesome overlooking the water. It is very conveniently located to the major routes as advertised. We found it very convenient and did I mention clean. Dorothy and John were very helpful from start to finish you could not ask for more. I know two things we look for when renting is a clean home and accessible owners this property had both. Thanks Dorothy and John!!
