Swimming, shelling, jet skiing, fishing, boating, tennis, golf are all available. Great for jogging and long walks on the beach. Bike rentals are readily available and there is a playground near by. Two world-class golf courses (Tom Fazio design) and outstanding tennis are available.
Dining and History:
There is great dining on Isle of Palms and Sullivan's Island (next door to IOP), Mount Pleasant (five minute drive), or downtown Charleston if you take a short 20 minute drive (some of the best restaurants in the country). Pizza and Chinese delivery are both available as well as Subway, Quiznos and other quick food places. A grocery store is right down the street. The marina store with essentials is a short 3 minute walk. History is everywhere, covering colonial, revolutionary war, civil war and more recent period sites.
