Car: necessary
We are located on the edge of the Great North Woods area--the best foliage viewing. You don't have to leave the front porch. We have great viewing of wildlife and the surrounding mountain ranges. We are within minutes to both Forest Lake and the Connecticut River. We are approximately 15 minutes from Santa's Village and Six Gun City. We are also 15 minutes from Littleton, NH, with it's Main Street Shopping. Whitefield is 10 minutes away and has a Summer Theater and the Mountain View Grand Hotel. 20 Minutes gets you to Bretton Woods or Cannon Mountain. Climb Mount Washington by car or the Cog Railway. 15 minutes gets you to Bethlehem and it's great antiquing. 30 minutes away is Crawford Notch. Go hiking or view the Amazing waterfalls. North Conway is 45 minutes away and you are going in the opposite direction of everyone else. If you can't find anything in New Hampshire, Vermont is the next town over. St. Johnsbury is 1/2 an hour away. There is something for everyone.

Beautiful vacation rental home! We'll be back!!!

The home and land are absolutely beautiful. The sites to see are relatively close; within 15 to 40 minutes depending on what you want to see. The house is very clean and there is a basket in the master bedroom containing almost anything you may have forgotten to pack for toiletries.
The view from the back deck is absolutely amazing; especially while relaxing in the hot tub!! A wonderful thing about the layout of the house~ there are sliding doors between the family and living room area; each side has a television. John and I were able to watch our own shows on the large T.V. and Alysha was able to watch her DVD's adjasent to us in the other part of the room; that was very relaxing for us! The master bedroom bed is very inviting and the bed is very comfortable. When you awake in the morning, the moutains and sun are kissing each other~it's a beautiful sight. The jaccuzzi in the master bath is also very relaxing.
We had a wonderful time here. No neighbors to be bothered by. The hot tub was hot (Great) not like some other rentals we have had. The ammenities were wonderful! There are Great binoculars that the owners provide to view the moutains from the back deck. We recommend this vacation home to everyone visiting the White Mountains or the North woods Regions of New Hampshire. Thank you for letting us use your home! It was a wonderful vacation! John, Cyndi and Alysha :)
Owner's Response: We have made our home especially family friendly. Children don't even have to leave the house to have fun. But, we also want it to be relaxing for the parents. The hot tub is a great way to end a long day at Santa's Village. We hope John, Cyndi and Alysha come again.

The View Is Priceless

The stresses of everyday life leaves you as soon as you get to the top of the hill in front of this perfectly placed well kept home as you look out to the east with a panoramic view of the Presidential Mountain range. We spent most of all our time here gazing at the mountains all day and the stars in the sky at night, absolutely breath taking, I can honestly say this vacation in this well maintaned home has changed our lives and how we look at it. It really cant be explained, you have to be here and see this to beleive it, we cant thank the owners enough for letting us enjoy such an experience and sharing there home with us. This home has everything you need you will not want for anything, the owners are friendly, I can not explain, or come up with the words that could explain the true experience we had here, you have to stay here to know what we mean, we are moved by the hospitality and vow to come back here again every chance we get. Is there a lot next door available? just kidding , dont procrastinate staying here , just do it, it truly is a moving experience
Owner's Response: Our home is certainly a stress reducer. When you are staring at the stars you do feel as if you are in another world. I am so thrilled that people are able to truly get away from it all and lead a simpler life, even if only for their short stay at our home.

More than a Million Dollar View

This is the perfect place to stay. The fun started just after parked the car. After I looked to the sky full of stars everything (the boss, work, the bad economy) all the worries just dissapear. Even my wife did not bother me at all :) she was too busy enjoying the place. The bathrooms, showers, jacuzzi, kitchen the entire house was neat clean. They have a bunch of boad games for little ones and not so little. We went to Santa's Village... that's a magical place my 2 years old enjoyed every single ride. I just got an A+ from my friends everyone had a wonderful time. The lake near the property is a beauty, perfect for fishing.
You must visit the area and stay in this place.
Owner's Response: I am so glad you and your friends enjoyed our home. The surroundings and environment do melt the stress away instantaneously. The lake is also excellent for swimming and picnicking. Hopefully you will return and enjoy even more of the area.
