Coventry Lake, Underwood Island

My wife and I had a great stay at the lakeside cottage and especially the private island. Plenty of amenities, clean, well maintained, and excellent customer service. Underwood Island was the best part, quiet, peaceful and no worries. We highly recommend.

Wonderful week on Coventry Lake

My husband & I just returned yesterday from our yearly trip to CT. to visit family and friends. This year we rented this this cottage on Coventyr Lake rather than our usual B&B or hotel. Was so nice to be able to entertain family & friends in such a great setting. Owner Jon was always available if needed. Cottage was very open, bright and airy. Very well maintained & painted in nice soft lake colors. Wonderful open views of lake and island. Had two family gatherings during our stay. Young children enjoyed swimming from the site & older ones jumping off the end of the dock where the water is deeper. Spent alot of our time on the roomy screened porch which has a large glass top table and comfortable chairs. This is a wonderful vacation retreat for a small family or a retired couple like us. Would have liked the second bedroom to have had twin beds rather than bunks as we had my husbands sister and her husband in from Deleware for a couple of nights, but know folks with children would rather have bunk beds. Over all everything was 5 stars. Every thing one could want & need was right there.
