Great little apartment in great location

This is a great little apartment to explore the city, in the very vibrant and hip Lower East Side (with the famous Katz Deli right around the corner). Clean, affordable and very close to all the sites and subway. The only suggestions to make it better would be to put pots,pans, and utensils in the kitchen. I would not recommend it for people who cannot climb 5 flights of stairs and want complete silence at night (but good luck finding that in NYC!). I would definetly stay here again.
Recommended for:  Adventure Seekers, Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

We were very pleased with the apartment which more than lived up to the photos and description.
The apartment was quite clean and the walk to the 5th floor was not a problem.
The subway is so close by as are tons of amenities - diners, cafes, fresh bagels, shopping at boutiques - it's a very hot and trendy neighbourhood.
Our only complaint relates to street noise - be warned that you might want earplugs, but that has nothing to do with the apartment, just the busy-ness of the location!
Although there is a full kitchen there aren't any pots or kitchen utensils, and some dish cloths to dry the glasses and utensils would be helpful, but that is minor.
The cafe is great and the food and coffee were delicious and all the staff very helpful.
I'd return and recommend the apartment to others. Although he's not the target audience our 3 year old loved the apartment and the number of playgrounds nearby. It's an appropriate place for a family but probably more appealing to those without kids just because of all the neighbourhood has to offer.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

The location of this apartment is excellent for anyone interested in what's really happening, cool and trendy in NYC right now. Ludlow Street and the Lower East Side area are fun both day and night (a lot of construction is going on in the street right now, which I imagine might be annoying if you didn't leave the apartment, but didn't bother us at all as we were out and about). And you're within walking distance of most of the sights. Everything in the apartment was new and clean and we couldn't fault anything apart from the shower pressure (or lack of), but that certainly didn't spoil our stay. Earth Matters, the cafe below the apartment block, is fabulous for organic food, shakes and very lovely, smiley, friendly staff. Don't expect five-star slickness, but that's absolutely not why you'd come here anyway. I would recommend this property unreservedly to my friends -- though there is a steep staircase up and no elevator, so it's not great for the inactive or those with buggies. Thanks: we had the best time!
