About Cobb Farm:
Cobb Farm is nestled in the rolling, wooded hills stretching from its private Cape Cod bay beaches to Old County Road. The secluded setting is far enough away from Wellfleet (nearest sizable town) to eliminate summer crowds and provide its residents a high degree of privacy. Cobb Farm residents have succeeded in maintaining the natural beauty of the historic Cape with private homes fitting comfortably into the landscape. Walkers can hike the old railroad line (now a walking path) to nearby blueberry bushes and neighboring Ryder Beach, or a short distance up the beach to view Edward Hopper's house. Bikers can ride along twisting country roads to Wellfleet or the gorgeous Atlantic Ocean beaches, Kayakers can launch off the bay beach, nearby Pamet harbor or down the beautiful Pamet river. For most visitors, the best activity lies in relaxing at the house, indoors in the airy living spaces or outdoors on the spacious deck among the treetops and views of the wooded hills and bay.
Nearby Attractions:
Wellfleet is one of the Cape's historically quaint villages, containing everything from an expansive harbor, galleries and shops to National Seashore beaches and wildlife sanctuaries. Evening entertainment includes restaurants with live music, a players theater and the double feature at a 50's style drive-in movie theater.
Truro consists largely of country roads, walks through the woods and natural landscapes on the bay and ocean sides. Interspersed in the landscape are ponds that are accessible to bathers. A few shops are situated here and there providing fresh fish, farmers market produce and gourmet market goods, the Truro Winery, Atlantic Spice Company and more.
Provincetown is a 20 minute drive (and worlds) away. P-Town remains a popular tourist attraction and good for a visit, however its main attraction to Truro residents is as a reminder of how fortunate they are to be able to get away. The natural preserves and bike trails of the Province Lands are not to be missed.
