Beach N Place is the place to kick off your flip flops and relax on the the sandy beach of the Sea of Cortez in Puerto Penasco, Mexico also known as Rocky Point. Cortez 1006 is a 2 Bedroom 2 Bath 1632 square foot condo located on the 10th floor in Phase II of Las Palomas Seaside Golf Community. The condo has an oversized 430 square foot patio with 40 feet of frontage and stunning views of the Sea of Cortez, overlooking the common area featuring a lazy river, jacuzzi, and infinity pool with swim up bar.

The condo is decorated with modern furnishings from Z Gallerie. Living room has wall mounted 55''LED TV and Definitive surround sound system with Bose patio speakers. Bedrooms feature wall 46' mounted TV’s and iPod docking alarm clocks. Kitchen is fully equipped to accommodate any meal that you choose to prepare. However, you might want to try the Las Palomas 4 Diamond Restaurant Citron, La Maria Gourmet Coffee and Ice Cream shop, or casual dining by the pool/swim up bar.

Cortez 1006 Amazing Place at las Palomas

We stayed here from 08/24 to 08/28/09, this condo was definitely a piece of paradise. We got to enjoy the amenities that Las Palomas offers such as, room service, daily maid services, the pools, the hammock area, and La Maria restaurant. La Maria Restaurant has pretty good food, and fairly priced. My husband ordered a "Cafe Mexicano" which was a delightful show to watch the waiter prepare at our table, and had an incredible taste. All in all, I believe its worth every cent, at the restaurants and the Condo / Amenities. The owner was always in contact and everyone at the hotel went the extra mile to help. We will definitely be coming back soon.

Another Great Year at the Beach House !!!

We just came back from a wonderful week at Las Palomas, we stayed from the 19th of May to the 26th. This is our second stay and we loved it even more, the condo is great with all the necessary amenities, we had the chance to experience more of what the town offers, we went to CEDO (Research facility for the Desert and Oceans) located in las conchas, and they gave us great info, answered all our questions reference the sea of cortez (We had a biologist to answer questions). They also recommended a great trip to the "Pinacate" natural federal reserve it is amazing, and a tour and lunch to the Oyster farm. This is my 3rd visit to Puerto Peñasco and my second at this rental. I could not find a better place, looking forward to being in Rocky Point Again.
Great places to eat: Citron at the Las Palomas resort (Breakfast), Coffe Haus - main street just past latitude 31 (Breakfast), Latitude 31 (Lunch) -Entrance to Downtown, ComboTaco (BEST FISH and SHRIMP TACOS) - (Lunch) Off main highway and the city hall street. Tacos el Poblano (Dinner Tacos) Main highway and No reeleccion street (near the baseball stadium). I can't wait to go back Thanks !!

We love las Palomas and go there several times a year - it's got great facilities (esp. if you go off season and the ocean will be cooler). We love the pools, the service, the views, and the ease of staying there. This unit was one of the best we've stayed in - very well furnished, with lots of thoughtful extras: games, beach chairs and umbrellas, etc. (though we would have loved some dvds to choose from too!). They also had some of the "extras" that units often don't: napkins, salt, and sugar, etc. (We generally bring our own - down to the sponge, since units can be bare.) The dining table on the patio is really nice too! We really liked this unit, and I plan to return the next time we need a 2 bedroom for our stay. Owners also arranged a late check out for us. Thanks!

Paradise close to home....

We had a blast! The condo had everything we needed. I am glad we decided to rent a 2 bedroom instead that a 1 bedroom condo. My kids loved the slow river and the pools. My husband played golf and I just relax the whole time....The owner was very helpful, answer all my questions and kept in touch with me throughout the whole process. We will be back next year for sure. Thanks!

paradise comes to Rocky Point

I recently stayed at this condo for a little Valentines day getaway. The moment we walked in we were blown away! We literally felt like we stepped into Paradise. The staff at the resort was more than friendly and were determined to make our stay a memorable one. The pool area is amazing and the view from the balcony and kitchen was incredible. The decorating on the interior was great as well and for a cheap quick trip across the border it had
the vibe of a vacation you can spend thousands on for a fraction of the cost. The condo had tile throughout as well as flat screen TV's in the living room and master bedroom. It even came well equiped with an Xbox if you or the kids enjoy that kind of stuff. The Bath Tub is Huge and perfect for a nice relaxing bubble bath after a full day of fun in the sun and sand and running around town. I definatelly recommend this place to anyone interested in a quiet weekend alone or a family vacation getaway without having to travel to far across the border! I look forward to visiting again and it will definately be my choice of place when visiting Rocky Pointe!
