The typical, cozy Portuguese-style vacation home is located on a 5000 sq. meter natural property with fruit trees and grapevines, well away from hotel complexes, discos and vacation annoyances.

Further Details: Besides a few terraces on different levels from where you have a fantastic view to the surrounding hills the guests can use a secret garden with mediterranean plants and flowers. The distance to the nice sandy beaches of Faro and Vale do

Lobo is approx. 20 Km., the beaches of the Rock-Algarve in the west are about 35 km away. Golf courses are within easy reach 30 min. by car.

The small village is located between Estoi and Sao Bras de Alportel.Some restaurants, bars, an internet-cafe and one mini-market are in approx.1 Km distance. Supermarkets, more shops and restaurants, post-office, and cash-machines are in the nearby (4km) town Sao Bras de Alportel. Here you also find a small covered market for your daily fresh fish, meat, fruits and vegetables. Each Saturday there is also a gipsy-market around the covered market.

Notes: The saltwater pool (10x5 m) is available exclusive for tenants of Casa Gisella. Towels for use at pool and beach are provided in addition to the normal towels in the bathroom. Lovely honeymoon away from it all

My husband and I had a wonderfully peaceful and private holiday here. Casa Gisella was large enough for us to not feel confined which can sometimes happen in a 1 bedroom property.

The owners were lovely and on hand to offer advice and tips but were in no way intrusive.

The pool and garden area that was our own to use was really well maintained and very pretty. The local town Sao Bras is within easy driving distance and there are plenty of places to go on day trips away from the main crowds if you want to explore.

One thing, which is a positive and a negative depending on how you view it - the English TV channels were somewhat lacking, as most were in German. For us this was not much of a problem but I know some people that might like the option to watch something in the evening on the TV.

Thanks to Gunter and Gisella for a lovely honeymoon and we hope to be back one day in the not so distant future.

An idyllic retreat!

Just returned from a wonderful two week stay at this lovely villa! It was clean and tastefully decorated throughout. Peaceful location and great pool to enjoy! Owners were on hand to give advice and were very friendly. Lidl and Intermarche just 5 minutes away by car in Sao Bras de Alportel. Ideally situated just 15 minutes by car from Faro airport and perfect for exploring the Algarve region by car.
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

This is a perfect place for a relaxing holiday. the pool is wonderful and a real luxury. Very private and peaceful. a lovely garden and supermarkets and shops a short drive away. We hope to be back soon,
