Brewster is a picturesque Cape Cod community with a variety of sites and activities. Offering several bay beaches, it is only a short ride to some spectacular ocean beaches for the serious beach goer. The town itself features many antique, art, glassware, and pottery shops and galleries. The Natural History Museum runs many programs and outings enjoyable for all ages! Golf is available in town at acclaimed Captains Golf Course and other courses are within minutes of Brewster- including minature golf for the less ambitious. Restaurants from fried clam stands to reasonably priced family establishments to gourmet upscale dining are available in the commnity and in the surrounding towns. Don't forget to visit the Brewster General Store to browse the aisles for interesting local history and souvenirs, and a great selection of 'penny' candy. It's like a short trip back in time and a great place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee and newspaper or a delicious ice cream treat!
