This comfortable, one-of-a-kind home is located in one of Sedona's most stunningly beautiful areas. If you're looking for quiet solitude, you'll find it here -- yet all the restaurants and services of Sedona are just a short, three-mile drive away. A five-minute walk takes you to Oak Creek, and a small hike directly behind the house puts you atop of a 225-foot red rock bluff where you'll capture unbelievable views. This contemporary home has simple elegance with excellent flow, having been designed in consultation with a feng shui master. Completed in 2006, it won the 'People's Choice' for best house on the Sedona Art and Architecture Tour that year. The entire house has great natural light, no matter what time of year you stay. Winter sunlight streams through southern windows, and summer patios are shaded and cool with natural ventilation. This is a green passive solar home built with ultra low voc materials, and also features ample conventional heating/cooling systems.

Location: This contemporary home is located in an exquisite rural setting 3 miles from downtown Sedona. This is a quiet location where the sounds of birds are often the loudest things heard. Other sounds include those of cows, horses, donkeys, dogs and neighboring Oak Creek. If you are coming to Sedona to play golf, this is probably not the place for you. But if you enjoy the outdoors, hiking, bicycling, running and breathing in the natural beauty, then you will likely enjoy this special place. The location is also available for special events, such as weddings and photo shoots by special arrangement.

Passive Solar Home: This is a green passive solar home built with ultra low voc materials. Winter sunlight streams through southern windows. Summer patios are shaded and cool with natural ventilation. In addition to the wood burning fireplace, the house is heated with in-floor radiant heat and a 100,000 btu forced air furnace. Ample cooling capacity is provided by a 4 ton air conditioning system.
