Fabulous weekend

I stayed with a large family group to attend a weekend weekend. The place was beautiful. Pefect central location. Eight bedrooms for eight couples provided us with a great gathering place for the weekend at less than the price of one night at a nearby hotel.
Recommended for:  Girls Getaway, Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing

Our family has rented several different vacation homes over the years and this rental left a lot to be desired. The house itself is a very classic house with great architectural detail and charm. However, the house had a very strong musty odor, the ceiling of the 1st floor shower was covered with mold, the floors were dirty to the point where feet would be black after walking around for a little while, and there were cob webs in just about every corner of the house. It just felt like it had not been very thoroughly cleaned. Additionally the kitchen only had 2 small pots which made it nearly impossible to cook for a large family, the TV did not work, and the house lacked some basic items like places to put your soap in the shower...other than the floor. With all the choices of homes out there, this is one to avoid.
