Do you want a true Santa Fe Get-away? Try Casa Maritzia with its old world Santa Fe charm. Our adobe home has been lovingly restored with original vigas, hardwood floors and Mexican tile, wood burning kiva fireplace, enclosed patio and all the details that make it such a unique and special place. The southwestern furnishings and antiques combine to give the house a warm and comforting ambiance. The two bedroom suites each with their own bathroom offer quiet and privacy for two couples. The 1700 square foot house is close to the plaza –a pleasant three block walk- to museums, restaurants and galleries, yet it is a comfortable abode in a quiet, north side neighborhood. Enjoy meals in the completely equipped kitchen and dine in the large dining area or enjoy breakfast on the portal within the enclosed patio. The casa also includes a separate office, Wifi, cable television, off-street parking and a washer and dryer to make your stay a pleasant experience.

Nearest Airport: Albuquerque at 70 Miles
The casita is located in the northeast section of the city near the Plaza and one block away from the Ski Basin Road. Nearby attractions include: Georgia O’Keeffe Museum, Museum of Art, Palace of the Governors and Cross of the Martyrs. Within walking distance are numerous art galleries including those on Canyon Road, restaurants, the new convention center and shopping. Nearby, outdoor enthusiasts can enjoy hiking, biking, golf, tennis, horseback riding, river running and downhill and cross-country skiing. There are also several ancient Native-American ruins as well as present day pueblos available for visiting especially on feast days. During the summer one should not forget Indian Market, Spanish Market, Chamber Music Festival, the International Jazz and World Music Festival and of course the Santa Fe Opera.

Our stay at Casa Maritzia last summer was six weeks of just-like-home convenience and comfort, right in the heart of all the action in beautiful Santa Fe. The very thoughtful owners of this lovely casita anticipated our every need and want regarding roominess, impeccable cleanliness, top-quality kitchen/bath/bedroom supplies, and very tasteful decor. On rest days, we could be entertained for hours with the wifi connections, flat-screen TVs (three of them!), radio, and DVD player. On tourist days, a ten-minute walk would get us to the Plaza, cathedral, museums, shops, art galleries, free concerts, and excellent restaurants. On high-energy days, a large network of scenic and challenging hiking trails were only a fifteen-minute drive away. Best of all, after whatever type of day we spent, we could sit out on our lovely patio, gaze at the tranquil courtyard, have a glass of wine, and count our blessings. This marvelous casita is definitely a treasure that would beckon anyone back over and over!

This was our first trip to New Mexico. We were absolutely delighted with the casita, its location, ambience and amenities! It was clean, very comfortable and inviting. We will heartily recommend it to our family, friends and anyone who reads this. Our friend from Ireland also plans to recommend this casita to her friends there. We loved the area and will plan to go back. We also had some wonderful meals at The Shed, Amavi, and Santacafe. Great restaurants. Great museums and art galleries. Wonderful Native American culture. Great area to explore.

Thanks so much for the use of your home. The southwestern ambiance set the tone for our entire trip.
I really enjoyed the extra office space to set up my computer. The beds were comfortable and you have everything a renter could want to make their stay very enjoyable.
We definitely will recommend this casa to any of our friends desiring to stay in Santa Fe. Thanks again. JD

We just returned from staying at this wonderful home. It fully met all our expectations. The neighborhood was very quiet, close to the plaze. The home was very clean and comfortable. With cable TV in each bedroom, wifi and anything else we could want it was wonderful. We enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard in the early mornings and evenings. Very nice family to deal with. We would highly recommend it to anyone. Try Tortilla Flats and Tune-Up Cafe for great food. Also, we loved taking the Lorretto tram tour, do it first!

The pictures of this house does not do it justice. The house is tastely decorated with all the essentials of a real home. The house is laid out well to accomodate two couples and is in walking distance of the plaza.
