Dear Christina,
This is Natalie from Denver writing to "review" our experience at your Cedar Creek Rental property 239329). Sometimes with online rentals, it's impossible to know what to expect- but we were not in any way disappointed!
We enjoyed a truly memorable family celebration of Thanksgiving at Kuba's Big Cedar! The inside of the house was very clean, organized, well-stocked (truly- you guys thought of everything!!), spacious, perfectly situated and all-around perfect for our needs! in fact, the house far exceeded our expectations and was well worth the financial investment (rental fees). My parents were so pleased by your gracious hospitality- they kept saying how nice, pleasant and helpful you were. (I'm only sorry I didn't get a chance to meet you in person myself). I want to say an especially huge "thank you" for the well-stocked game closet- Monster Mash quickly became my 4-year-old daughter's favorite, while my husband and 6-year-old son enjoyed the thinking/strategy games like "Stay Alive"; the generosity of having 3 air mattresses-with pumps!; the thoughtfulness of including a hamper in the master bath; the provision of plenty of blankets; the abundance of high-quality, matching and durable dishes (my Mom loved the cookware set, as well)- and there were even a few plastic plate/trays for my kiddos- thank you! the table down by the fire pit came in really handy for s'more-making. The huge yard provided the perfect venue for our outdoor games, including wiffle ball (which you provided- thanks!!), football and basketball. My teenage nieces and nephews enjoyed playing darts and air hockey, and we all enjoyed a turn or two in the paddle boat.
The only 2 things I can think of that would have been great to have are: 1) hanging traps and/or repellent for wasps and mosquitos (they were pretty relentless), and 2) internet access, for those who plan longer stays but need to work by computer/have email access on their laptop.
Our whole family- (all 14 of us!) agreed this was the best Thanksgiving ever, thanks in large part to Kuba's Big Cedar and its gracious managers who literally thought of everything a family would need for the perfect vacation!
