Classic Waterfront Summer Home with Spectacular Ocean Views!!

Classic Maine cottage nestled between morgan's bay and blue hill bay!! This private family home is the ultimate destination for families big and small. Our home is on a private family compound that has been in the same family for over 100 years. The views are extraordinary, the house is relaxed and classic, with a fabulous working kitchen. Leese House is only rented on a monthly basis. All the bedrooms have fine linens and the bathrooms have thick Turkish towels. Although Leese House has old antique bathrooms with claw foot tubs, that we adore, there is a lovely outdoor rain Shower on the back porch! We love the old charm, and hope you will too!

Our summer home is perfect for families who want to have the story book Maine experience. Hiking up Blue Hill Mountain for a leisurely picnic, spending the day looking for sand dollars and star fish on one of the many islands. Canoeing to see the hundreds of seals that live in our rocky waters, or just sitting in one of our Adirondack chairs listening to the kids play on the rocks and watching the occasional sailboat drift by - all daily events that make our summers unforgettable. Ten minutes from the house is the town of Blue Hill. We have fabulous restaurants, great antiquing, as well as a few well known galleries. For food shopping the local food coop is my personal favorite, If you appreciate organic local foods, Blue Hill has more to offer than most of suburban Connecticut! We have local bakeries, a wine and cigar shop, farmers markets, and last but not least fresh lobster!!
