About Our Location:
Our private beach can be accessed by walking around the bluff. Our Bay beach is great at high tides or moon tides. There is a town maintained sand boat launch at one end of Old Wharf Point. A concrete boat ramp is located at the Town pier.
The Atlantic Ocean is 3 miles from the house at Marconi Beach or Lecounts Hollow. The Cape Cod bike trail terminus is 2 miles from the house, or you can bike on Wellfleet and Truro's back roads all the way to PTown. Wellfleet offers at least 10 fresh water ponds for you to explore, some as close as 7 - 10 minutes away by car. The Town of Wellfleet is 12 minutes by car, offering galleries, pottery studios and restaurants. Our area is a hiker's paradise (Audubon, Great Island, Cedar Swamp Trail, Salt Pond).

Oliver's Tennis Courts, Highland Light Golf and Willy's Gym are all a short drive away.
House Rules:
We have three simple house rules and a caretaker that lives next door.
No pets allowed.
No smoking.
Remove your shoes at the door.
Our home has recycled antique southern yellow pine flooring in all the bedrooms which may have to be refinished if pets or people with shoes are inside.
Please bring slippers or go barefoot.
We love pets, but we can not allow them in our house, and we can not make exceptions. Sorry.
Our friend and care taker lives in a detatched cottage in the rear of the property. The caretaker can orient you to the house, solve any problems and help you with Wellfleet questions. The caretaker works at a law firm in Orleans and will be away most of the time. He has separate parking and a separate entrance.
Roof deck useage is restricted:
Our roof deck offers spectacular water views, but it is not for everybody. It may be accessed only via an exterior spiral stair case. Children under the age of 16 can not use the roof deck with out an adult. Anyone who may have trouble with heights or with navigating stairs can not use the roof deck. No one should ever climb on to our roof from the roof deck. Finally, we can not allow the consumption of alcohol on the roof deck, and people who have been drinking alcohol should not use the roof deck and should instead enjoy the view of the water from the living room, front porch, dining room or sun room.

Golf:
Golfers can drive 15 minutes to the Chequesset Neck Country Club in Wellfleet or 22 minutes to the Highland Light Links in Truro. Cape Cod offers dozens of other courses, but these are the closest to our home.
