Cherry Grove Beach

What a wonderful spot! This was our first time using Home Away, and I was a little nervous we have three kids and we drove down from NH, but everything was as described and pictured. The condo is exactly as pictured in the you tube video that the owner sent me, except that the condo seemed larger in real life. The condo has a built in parking garage with a spot assigned to the unit on the second level (P2). The unit itself is on the eleventh floor, and looking out from the balcony all you can see is beach and ocean. The pier you see in the distance is the Cherry Grove Pier its about one and a quarter miles to the south. The beds were very comfortable in all of the rooms, and the unit was very well insulated we could not here the neighbors on either side of us at all. There was a lazy river (oval shaped pool with a current) that the kids LOVED! The ocean was beautiful it was so warm you could walk right in, the waves were perfect for boggie boarding when the tide came in, current can be a little strong so be careful with little ones. Plenty of watchful ifeguards on duty though. We ate at the Bonefish Grill which was excellent, and stopped at the Krispy Kreme when the donut was lit for a dozen fresh hot donuts (both south on 17). We traveled south down 17 to Brookgreen Gardens for a day trip, what a beautiful place, magnificent gardens built around amazing sculptures! Marc was very friendly and helpful, I highly recommend this condo!
Owner's Response: Thank you so very much for the excellent review! I am so glad you had a good stay at the beach and I hope you now have some wonderful family memories to keep with you. Please come back and visit us in the years to come!
All the best,
Marc
