Welcome to this great beach hide-away on the Chesapeake Bay. You’ll have convenient access to Cove Point Beach, a private mile-long pristine beach on the Chesapeake Bay. Historic Cove Point Lighthouse stands at the very tip of Cove Point. Nearby Solomons Island, just a few miles down the road, has spectacular offerings including restaurants, museums, sailing/boating, fishing, kayaking, and shopping. There are lots of water and land based activities nearby if you want to do more than just relax on the beach. State and County parks are within 5 minutes and offer tennis, public pool, playgrounds, golf, and hiking.

The house has 3 bedrooms (2 w/queens, 1 w/twins) and sleeps 6 guests. There is 1 full and 1 half bath, a fully-equipped modern kitchen, and washer and dryer. The house has TV, cable, phone, Internet (incl. wireless), dishes, and bed and bath linens. There is a fantastic wrap-around deck, and a screened porch with table and chairs perfect for having a Crab Feast.

Cove Point Beach is a private beach on the Chesapeake Bay, about 10 minutes north of Solomons Island, MD. Solomons Island is at the mouth of the Patuxent River where it meets the Bay, so there are a multitude of water activities available on both the river and the Bay. There are also several lighthouses in the vicinity including Cove Point Lighthouse at the end of Cove Point Beach, and the Drum Point Lighthouse now located in Solomons at the Calvert Marine Museum.

The whole area is about an hour southeast of Washington DC, or an hour south of Annapolis, MD.

We absolutely loved the beach house! It was very spacious inside. The big screened in back porch was so nice to sit in and enjoy nature! It was very affordable, and so close to the beach. We can't wait to rent it again! Thank you kindly for letting us stay in your beautiful home!

We really enjoyed our weekend stay at your beach
house! The home is very comfortable and in a great
location. Comfy linens and towels, clean and
streamlined modern furnishings, great deck and
porch... just wonderful. It's more spacious than it
seems in pix. Peaceful setting, fantastic dark skies
for stargazing, close to fossil hunting spots... can't
wait to visit again!

A wonderful place to enjoy a peaceful vacation. There are many things to see and do in the area, and wonderful restaurants to try. The Millers have made this beach house comfortable and well equipped. We had a wonderful time!

"This home is everything it says and more. Tomorrow is the last day of our 11 day stay and we do not want to go home. The owners are fantastic,the house is charming,the area is quiet,beautiful, and very handy to stores, food,and Solomons Island. Could not ask for a more peaceful vacation. We will be here every year that the Millers are still renting. Our new home away from home. Private community, friendly people, nice beach, and lovely lighthouse. Thank You to the Millers
