Beautiful Studio/Loft on the top floor of a Lovely brownstone in superior Stuyvesant Heights Brooklyn. Stay in a lovely quiet enclave that is just a short subway ride away from all Manhattan has to offer. A Victorian style brownstone that used to be the vacation home of the rich and famous who wanted a break from the bustling city! You'll wake up to birds chirping in the backyard and you can walk to the coffee shop down the block or make your own in your private fully stocked kitchen. This apartment can be rented alone or combined with the downstairs duplex to sleep up to 12 people.

My boyfriend and I just spent 10 days here, and it was wonderful. The apt was very comfortable and met all of our needs. We loved the neighbourhood. Everyone was very friendly, and there are some great restaurants just seconds away (the folks at Peaches & Bread Stuy were super nice, and do NOT miss the wood-fired oven pizza at Saraghina).

Being on the A line was really convenient.

Michelle was very friendly and gave us excellent directions for the cab ride from Kennedy.

I would love to stay here again the next time I visit NYC.

We stayed in this fabulous pad in Brooklyn for a week and had a great experience. You will be staying in a residential community(not a tourist in sight!) with great eating and bars near by, Brooklyn is a much overlooked part of the City. Check it out! However if came to visit Manhattan then the Subway is a 10 minute walk from the front door. The A train will have you in Manhattan in 10 minutes and is also very convenient to get to/from JFK. The apartment was spotless and had all modern conveniences, though the DVD player needed to be hooked up. You are in NYC what are you doing staying in and watching DVDs was my solution to that minor issue. One of the best attributes of this place is that you will get a quiet uninterrupted nights sleep. It is a family neighbourhood.
In a vain attempt to find fault for the sake of balance in this review, I would suggest that a welcome document be left in the apartment which lists the local amenities, (grocery stores, bars, dining places, Etc) and their location as well as that of the Subway station,
Oh be careful about where and when you park your car. it is safe, don't worry! It is just that i got a ticket for not moving it on garbage pick up day.
Michelle, the owner is very friendly, accommodating and helpful. She will be there if you need her or will leave you alone if you do not. The perfect landlady.
All in all I highly recommend the rental property as I will be going back to it myself.
Rent it and have great holiday.

Superb is right!

This rental absolutely exceeded our expectations. It's an amazing value considering the location, quality and size of the studio. The building is on a gorgeous tree-lined street just a few blocks away from the subway. Right around the corner you can find yummy coffee and baked goods at Bread Stuy, and trendy soul food at Peaches. There are also a few small grocery/liquor stores nearby. The studio itself was comfortable, larger than it looks in the pictures, and immaculately clean. It gets tons of light and windows look out on a nice garden downstairs. Michelle was super friendly and helpful. I will definitely send friends and family to this rental when they visit Brooklyn!

I stayed here for one week and absolutely loved it! The apartment was BEAUTIFUL and felt like home. The neighborhood was friendly, safe and convenient. We loved the restaurant Peaces just around the corner and ate there several times. Michelle, the owner was very nice and gave us some ideas about what to do around town. I would highly recommend this vacation rental to everyone!
