Newly renovated, tastefully furnished, spacious 1 bedroom located in the heart of Upper West Side on a quiet street. It consists of 2 sleeping areas with one queen size bed, sofa bed and futon in the living room and an optional air mattress. Apartment includes modern kitchen with granite counter tops and a bathroom with a jacuzzi. It also has a lovely balcony off the living room. The apartment includes a/c, 2 TVs, VCR, Cable service, Internet, hair dryer, walk-in closets, laundry in the building. It is on the 2nd Fl (no elevator), 700 sq ft with 12ft ceilings. It is located 100 ft from CPW and close to Natural History Museum. Surrounded by many famous restaurants and stores (Zabars) and walking distance to world renowned Dakota building and many other famous sights. Numerous family friendly activities including CMOM. 4 Subway stops from theater district. As you can see this landmarked historic district has something for everyone.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A $500 cash security deposit is required upon arrival and is returned minus damages, if any, at departure. To hold the apartment a non-refundable deposit of 33% of the rental is required. The balance must be paid one month before arrival. We use Paypal or Credit Card and will send you an email where you may pay with a credit card. A 3% service charge will be added.
  • This rate is based on double occupancy. For any additional person over the age of 6 years old a daily charge of $35 will apply per person.

Perfect location, lovely hosts (they live in the building). It's beautifully furnished and larger than many NYC apts. The amenities are stellar, you're steps from CPW (and the Diana Ross playground for kids), a few blocks from the Children's Museum, and the subway, restaurants on Columbus & Amsterdam, etc. There is no elevator, so I would not recommend this property for folks with mobility limitations. Other than that, I cannot say enough positive things! I have already recommended this property to others and hope to stay with my family again.

A wonderful apartment for a family or a couple.

We spent nine wonderful nights here with our 3 1/2 year old. The apartment is very nicely decorated, with all the amenities of home. The brick makes it extremely homey, and the balcony was a wonderful place to take breakfast or to have a drink and read at night.

The location is a plus, as well, with a subway stop one block away, the American Museum of Natural History another block away, Central Park less than a block away (and several playgrounds within Central Park are within walking distance).

In addition, the variety of food nearby is fantastic. You can find just about anything you're looking for within any price range. Grocery stores are also plentiful, with some fantastic stores within walking distance.

We definitely hope to stay here again!
