You will enjoy an 18-hole golf course, restaurants, pool and beautiful surroundings. Cabo Rojo is know for it's beaches, with more than seven beaches within a 30-minute drive. Apartment complex is at the Club Deportivo del Oeste, Joyuda, and Cabo Rojo Golf Course. Joyuda is known as the Seafood Mile consisting of more than 80 seafood restaurants on a 3-mile stretch. The apartment is at a high-end complex with excellent amenities. You will find everything you need, from beach towels to an espresso coffee machine. There is also an outdoor BBQ, pool, and snorkeling right at your back yard. View the Caribbean Sea from your private balcony relaxing at the hammock. Beautiful sunsets are just part of the deal!

Puerto Rico's southwest coast is full of activities for the whole family. Cabo Rojo Lighthouse, bird sanctuary, mountain bike trail, banana boat rides, deep sea fishing, shopping, great seafood restaurants and variety food. Parguera's Bioluminescent Bay excursions; a trip to the Mayaguez Zoo, or just a relaxing time at the pool or beach.

Nautical and water sports: There is plenty of water activities! From banana boat rides to Deep Sea Fishing; from snorkeling to scuba; from sailing to luxury boat rides or just spending the day under a palm tree enjoying your Piña Colada... Cabo Rojo is best known for its beaches, so you will have plenty of spots to choose from. From Joyuda you can get a ride to 'Ratones Island', a beautiful key where you can spend the day. 'Ratones Island' has bathroom and shower facilities for your convenience. Also at Joyuda is Tourmarine where you can go on snorkling or diving trips as well as fishing trips or just a ride around the beautiful West Coast!

Casinos: Puerto Rico's cool casinos attract all kinds of people, from serious gamblers and casual gamers to sightseers. Mayaguez Resort and Casino 444 slot machines and Holiday Inn and Tropical Casino 377 slot machines are open 24 hours. Both casinos are located in hotels so in addition to slots and table games you will also find lively bars, live music and fine dining. You are welcome to try your luck if you are 18 years or over and wearing casual clothes or better attire (no beachwear). By the end of 2009 a new casino will be open in Cabo Rojo, just 10 minutes from our apartment!

Gastronomical Experience: Joyuda is known as 'The gastronomical mile'. Three miles filled with excellent seafood restaurants... the best in the Island. This mile stretch is less than 5 minutes drive from the apartment. At Cabo Rojo's town square you'll find several fine dining restaurants as well. If you are looking for a relax ambiance, Cuesta Blanca Restaurant in PR#307 is your place; excellent food! At Boqueron you will find Abemar's Pizzeria... mmm!

Golf: Club Deportivo del Oeste 18-hole golf course is a more difficult up and down hilly course. Nestled in a mangrove forest, there is a chance some wildlife may join in the game. Open Mon-Sun 7 am to 7 pm. Par/yard 70/5,978. Green fees $35-$40. Rental Clubs $25.

one of the best vacations on puerto rico ive ever experienced...i could not ask for more...from the hominess of the apartment, to the view from the hammoock on the patio to the warm water of the conveniently located pool to the challenging golf course just up the road...i had one hell of a wonderful time

I really enjoyed my stay at the apartment. It was very clean and the view was beautiful. The description of the apartment was accurate. It is located on the third floor and there is an elevator if you need one. The apartment was very cozy. The perfect getaway place for two. We had three people in our party and we were very comfortable. The location is great. You are close to the beaches and to the Parguera. Good restaurants and shopping are also close by. We ate seafood at the Bohio restaurant in Joyuda. It was very good. We had a nice steak dinner at Mike's Steak House in San German. (definitely try the churasco) In Boqueron, there is a little establishment close to the plaza that makes killer Mojitos!!!! I highly recommend them. We were visiting family in San German and Maricao, so the location was very convenient for us. I would definitely stay there again and would highly recommend this apartment to others. The only thing I did not like were the speed bumps located throughout the property. They were pretty close together. Other than that, I loved it!!!!
