Beautiful house, gorgeous pool

We stayed at this house in Summer of 2010 to have a family reunion with my son and his family who live in Los Angeles. It was the perfect venue - the pool is gorgeous and the house is huge! Some interesting decor but fascinating to look at. We were extremely comfortable as the bedrooms are all very well appointed and we were well looked after by Patricia, the housekeeper, and her husband who tends to the pool and gardens. Patricia came in every day to ensure the house was clean and the beds made - a real treat on a self catering holiday! We were made to feel very much at home and able to fully relax and enjoy our time together. At the end of the garden a gate leads onto the nature reserve and by walking through this you get to the beach. A bit of a climb down but not difficult and the reward is a lovely quiet, clean beach. All in all we had a brilliant time and would recommend this property to anyone who wants a relaxing, luxurious house within striking distance of Santa Barbara with its wonderful ambiance, shops and restaurants.
