Fantastic Family Vacation Spot!

Located on a quiet cove on gorgeous Beech Hill Pond, this two bedroom, two bathroom home was perfect for our family get away. This light and airy lakefront home was JUST renovated so it was sparkling clean and decorated simply, but with fine architectural touches and a blend of antiques and new décor. House had everything we needed – linens, grill, kitchen wares, microwave, lobster pots, and more – and stayed pleasantly cool downstairs even on the balmiest of days (making it a welcome haven from the mosquitos and the sun). Our two young kids loved the bedroom with twin beds and spent hours playing in the rustic, unattached screen house (perfect playhouse for a break from the sun or for passing the time on the occasional rainy afternoon). We enjoyed the spacious master bedroom and watching the sun come up over the water.
House, which boasts great waterviews, is on a big rustic plot of land so there is plenty of privacy. Enjoyed seeing sunrises (spectacular) and sunsets from the small dock on the property and lounging in the swing chair on the deck off of the kitchen and living areas. New small flatscreen television was installed just prior to our arrival and kids enjoyed watching movies in the knotty-pine paneled sun porch.
All in all, a really great place to spend a family holiday on the water and enjoying the best Maine has to offer- and it's pet friendly, and our black lab never left the lake!
