At JCR, you’re just 30 minutes from Kerrville, Fredricksburg, Bandera, & the booming northwest side of San Antonio, so day trips in any direction are quick and easy. Visit wineries, caves, art & craft shows, state parks, galleries, golf courses, Fiesta Texas, Sea World & countless other venues within a short distance; then return to the ranch for peaceful country evenings & casual dining on the lodge patio or in the comfort of one of the rental houses on the ranch. Summer ranch activities include clay target shooting on the wobble trap, sporting clays course, or our brand new triple trap wobbler that simulates driven pheasant shooting. Then there are creek and river sports like fishing, tubing, canoeing, & kayaking. Bring your bikes. Axis deer hunting is available.
