NOTE: No dogs are allowed on Salmon Creek Beach proper due to protection of the Snowy Plover bird.
However, dogs on leash ARE allowed on adjacent beaches: Bodega Bay Dunes State Park (south) and Wright's Beach (north). Also, there is lots of open land in the dunes behind the Salmon Creek beach where dogs have plenty of room to roam. Unless you have a dog under good voice-control, we do recommend leash so that dogs don't chase the deer.
