Our family of four loved this cute apartment as our home-base for exploring Cape Ann. The apartment was clean, comfortable and just right for our needs. The setting is within a quiet neighborhood on the edge of conservation land with beautiful trails and a quarry. The host family is lovely: warm, welcoming and eager to help with information about the area, including where to get the best fresh fish and lobsters. The apartment is above their home and we felt that we had plenty of privacy. Great location for accessing beaches, fishing off the rocks, bike rides, walking in the woods, boating and whale watching, museums, shops and beautiful Rockport Harbor. King size bed is very comfortable. Nice to have internet access. Kitchen is quite adequate and if there is anything you need, your hosts are right there. Our young adult daughters loved this spot too and after camping as a family for most every summer, we all agreed that this was the best way to enjoy our family week on the coast.
