The house is very private and romantic with wonderful landscaped gardens. It's a serene adult retreat. There are two large master bedrooms with comfortable pillow top mattresses on the queen and king bed. The Queens room has its own private entrance, leading to a large private bathroom with claw foot tub for 2 people, separate shower and heated marble floor.There's even a heated towel rail.The Kings room is a spacious and comfortable room with a gabled ceiling, it's own private bathroom with a steam shower for 2 and jacuzzi tub, with a heated tiled floor. The house includes a large living room/dining room with gas burning fireplace, satellite tv and dvd. A fully equipped gourmet kitchen completes the inside, and a large deck is available to enjoy the outdoors, and barbecue. (There's a half bath downstairs) Linens, towels and kitchen essentials are provided.

We only rented the Queen's room at the house, however, it was plenty large, included a small refrigerator, wine glasses and bottle opener, coffee pot with coffee, and coupons for bakery goodies.

Everything has a feeling of excellence from the incredibly comfy bed, the two person bathtub to the nice towels and bedspread.

I will definitely come back to this property again and again in the future!

We stayed here for two nights with our daughter & grandson. This home is absolutely fabulous with the most beautiful kitchen you'd ever want to see. Everything was so new and CLEAN, we hated to use it. The AGA stove is to die for. The bedrooms were very, very comfortable and the views across the meadows are wonderful. We highly recommend Lavender House as a great experience! Can't wait to go back.
